Addition $1K Loyalty Cash Incentive available

According to Edmunds, Infiniti is now offering an additional $1000 Loyalty Cash from May 1 - June 30:
$1,000 Lease Owner Loyalty Cash is available to those who currently own or lease any Infiniti vehicle. Consumer is not required to trade in the qualifying Infiniti to use this offer.
This is in addition to the $2000 Factory to Dealer incentive they're passing on to cash buyers.

Even though this is supposed to be for existing Infiniti owners, it indicates to me that they're adding incentives to bring in more buyers. Any thoughts on how to get negotiate this into a deal if you're not an existing owner?

Anyone have more information on this incentive? Looks like its leasing only so wouldn't be in addition to the $2000 Factory to Dealer incentive correct? Also with the sales numbers being the way they are, would Nissan owners be able to take advantage of this?

Thanks,

Mike

it's not an additional $1000 loyalty... it used to be $500 loyalty so it's an extra $500 from last month's incentives.

The $2000 dealer incentive is only if you are not leasing, and you are not using the low financing offered from Infiniti. It's either low financing to buy, or $2000 cash incentive to buy w/ a standard interest rate.

So its either they give you a 1.9-2.9% interest rate or they take 2000 off and then hit you up with a 6% interest rate?

some people care more about the monthly payment than the low financing rate. the 3.9% is attractive for 72mths

Im guessing by your location and signature that you work for a dealership?

I was debating between the G37 and 135..... both are fantastic cars, but the G37 has such a nicer interior which my wife likes, so we are leaning towards the G37. At this time of year with this economy, I was expecting to get a pretty good deal on an 09.

Its my understanding that you can only use the financing incentives or the 2000 marketing support.

I have excellent credit, say I used the marketing support, what would be the best financing rate I could get for 60 months? 48 months?

Say I take the 2.9% financing for 60 months (or 1.9% for 48 months), should I be able to pick up the car for under invoice or invoice or a little over invoice?

Im looking at a 2009 G37 coupe Journey, automatic, with sport and premium package. Im trying to do as much research as I can so when I walk into the dealership to make him an offer, I know its a fair and good one.

The way it reads is this is $1000 CASH to the buyer (whether leased or purchased) above and beyond the $2000 Factory to Dealer money. So if you currently own or lease an infiniti, the price quoted last month to you did not have this included since there was no cash to buyer incentive in April, only the $2K to dealer that they passed on to you.

So can anyone answer if this incentive can be had by non Infiniti owners? I own a Nissan was hoping that would qualify? I know I've seen in the past where they say Nissan owners get 1/2 the incentive, which is great, but any Nissan owners ever get the full benefit?

Thanks again,

Mike

I was negotiating at the local dealer last night and he was standing firm that his offer is for leases only. I'm still not sure if I believe him since the Edmunds info is under the Customer Cash incentive section, not under Lease Incentive section.

So I think it depends on how forceful you push back on them.

I asked the dealership about this yesterday too but they weren't even aware that it was 1k this month. They kept insisting it was 500 and said it didn't matter since I only own a Nissan. I would still like to know if anyone else has more info on this because being a Nissan owner for the past 8 years and looking for another 3-4yrs to me sounds like a loyal customer.

you have to own or lease an Infiniti... Nissan does not count as loyalty. Thats like going to Old Navy and wanting a credit in the Banana Republic store. The only thing you get for $500 is towards any excessive wear and tear if you are leasing a Nissan.

What if I owned a G35 Coupe that I bought from the same dealer and financed (and paid off) through Infiniti Financial Services? I happen to have sold it a couple years ago but as far as their records could show, I own one.
