G37S - Is this price good?

I'm in the process of buying a '09 G37S. Blue slate, Graphite int. Nav, Prem, Sport, and Illuminated door sills. The price they've agreed to at this point is $39,850 out the door, including 6.25% tax, title, etc.

Is this a fair price? I originally asked for $39k OTD. The above price was their counter offer, and they don't seeming willing to move much more.

I'm seeing quite a number of posts on different forums mentioning buyers getting Gs for under invoice. I'm assuming most cars regardless of make and model are going this route do to the crappy economy.

Thanks for the replies. What would invoice price for this car be? I know that would vary from dealer to dealer, but approximately.....? 36k?

I'm wondering if these are prices out the door below invoice or are people getting offered below invoice prices and then adding Tax and license?

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and the reason I register is because I'm planning of buying the G37S.

I currently drive an IS250AWD and believe me is not fun to drive.

So, I have a couple of questions... first of all is regarding the price you guys post.

I'm interested on putting the same package:

Model: G37 Sport (19in, 6MT, etc)
Exterior Color: White
Interior Color: Black

1. Premium Pack
2. Navigation

I went to edmunds.com and quoted:

MSRP with Options: $43,265
Dealer Invoice: $39,721
What others are paying: $40,937

My question is, how did you get that deal? (I didn't add Illuminated door sills) Is that an Infiniti dealer? Do you think they can let it go by 39K? + Tax + license fee?

Thanks,
Jose

Tell them $39k firm. I wouldnt spend anymore on it. These cars are junk when you wanna trade them in, My $44k window sticker 08 G37 with 3600 miles that I paid $39300 8 months ago is worth no more than $31k now. ridiculous if you ask me.
