New 2009 G37 Premium Coupe - $1,100 BELOW invoice

A local dealer is having a special promotion until the end of the month for their preferred customers. They sent me an email and also left a voicemail. They are promoting it as "Employee Pricing". It's the model/options I'm looking for.

G37 Journey Coupe - Premium & Illuminated Kickplates
Sticker - $40,995
Invoice - $37,715
Offer - $36,645
VPP Estimate - $36,368 (My calculation)

That offer is $1,070 below invoice. From what I've been reading, that's a very good offer on a 2009. I have to make a decision in the next few days.

I asked about 0.0/0.9/1.9% financing and was told that the low financing did not apply to the quoted price.

Thoughts - deal or no deal?

$36k for an 09' is very good. If they sell it to you for that price I'd say take it. My only issue here is the financing, what programs will they be offering instead of the ones you mentioned?

if the financing isn't those you listed, what will it be?

1 k under invoice is a good price for an 09 btw.

My credit union has excellent car financing. They normally can't be beat. They are offering 2% financing on a secured car loan, 10% down, for up to 60 months.

Edmunds website says Infiniti is offering dealers a rebate on the coupe through 3/31/09, but didn't give a figure. That's probably the $1k under invoice.

I'm in Texas.

Credit Union is American Airlines Credit Union.

I went ahead with the purchase. It was exactly the options and color combination I wanted.
