Which one should i get.. if the 2008 only was like 2000 cheaper then the 2009..Also have any one negotiated the pricing for a 2009 g37. What was the best offer...

 

well what options are you getting? you can get a 2008 for wayyyyyyyy below invoice... are you getting a 7at vs 5at or what?

 

well just the premium package and maybe the nav package.. Umm I dunno im thinking bout the six speed.. I heard that the 2008 had alot of issues with the soft paint and tranny and whats not.

 

all infinitis have soft paint... the 09's have self healing paint but i don't know how well it works... maybe someone that has one will chime in

the tranny problem is prevalent... but that doesn't mean 09's won't have tranny problems either

 

Ahhh yes that makes sense.. i guess i'll just go with whatever i get the better deal in... which most likely would be the 08. Well i really Enter text here.appericate the help.. Im sure if i asked the dealer i would basically just get BS from them....

 

the 7AT is faster than the 5AT.. the REST ARE THE SAME!!

so if u want to be "a tad" faster.. go with 09. if u dont care.. get 08 for a sick a$$ deal!

edit: self healing paint or not.. doesnt really matter imo lol

 

We got the 08 because the 7 speed felt like a dog compared to the 5 speed. On paper the 7 speed is faster. Go out and test drive the two different years at the same time. We wanted to get an 09 (far easier to get the options she wanted), but after a number of test drives no question.
