New 08' G37S MT in Oklahoma City

Gents,

This is my first post on the forum as I am currently negotiating for my car. I will post an introduction once (hopefully) I close the deal and take delivery. Here is a rundown of the car and the negotiations so far:

New 2008 G37S MT
-Liquid Platinum w/ Graphite Leather
-Nav/Premium
-Illum kick plates
-Rear spoiler

First offer by the dealer was $40,408 (+$1,450 TTL). After the usual back and forth they are now offering the car for $38,550 but I am still on the hook for TTL. The inventory for MTs in this area (Dallas included) is very low even with the 09s. Any thoughts from the group on where I'm at with this offer? Thanks all.

For a more accurate opinion on the deal, please list the MSRP of the vehicle. Also, list the invoice price (can be found on edmunds.com) so we can compare prices.

Inifiniti currently has a $2500 cash to dealer incentive, so take in account for this discount as well. Are you trying to pay cash or use the 0.9% APR from Infiniti?

No problem:

MSRP- $43,110 (from dealer)
Invoice- $39,226 (from cars.com)

I can pay in cash today if necessary but I was thinking of financing a portion to build credit.

Finally!!! Someone from Oklahoma. I've been the only one here for over a year. Good luck on getting the deal and let us know how it goes. What part of OKC are you in?

The tropical oasis of Lawton! One of my good friends grew up in Edmond though; nice place.

Yeah I'm passing through Fort Sill...and by "passing through" I mean really mean "stuck until March 2010." Oh well, more time to enjoy my G.

Ok, cool. Well there's not alot of g37 action around OK yet, but i know there is a pretty big group of G35 and Z guys. I went to a couple of their track events last summer in OKC. Maybe you could make it up sometime after you get squared away on a deal, and check it out.

You should be able to get for at least $1k below invoice, plus use some of that $2,500 dealer incentive to get it down further, you'd have to pay in cash though, but it could be had for a bit over $37k I'd imagine..
