G37x Sedan Lease?
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any facts on the lease deals that are going to be offered on the 09 G37x sedan. My dealership is trying to coax me into an 08 with a lease price of $350 a mo for 36 months with $2500 down on an 08 with premium and wood if I make a deal before months end on Friday the 31st. I would really like to hold out for the 09 if i can get the same or close to deal but they say there will not be the same incentives for the 09.
Anyone have an insight or suggestions?

They probably have some marketing support for the 08 which means they can go lower on the sale price to lower your monthly payment, sometimes much below invoice. Keep in mind the dealer has no control over the money factor and the residual, these are set by Infiniti Financial. The money factor will probably worsen with the 09 and the dealer won't have as much wiggle room either. You will most likely get a better deal on the 08, without question.
Also, my rule of thumb is to never put money down on a lease. It's like pre-paying rent on an apartment, you would never do that. If you totaled the car 2 weeks after you drove it off the lot, the gap insurance will only cover the cost of the vehicle to Infiniti, you would lose that $2500. Always go no money down on leases!!! Keep the $2500 in the bank and pay the higher monthly payment, or even better, have the dealer knock another $2500 off the price, essentially having them put the money down!!
