Kkokko,

What is the MSRP price?

What is the invoice price?

Are you paying cash (I hope not) or are you financing the G37? If so, what are the finance charges? Hopefully, less than 1%.

Have you considered leasing?

Paying cash, as I'm purchasing from Canada. So financing won't be an option. The dealers here in Canada, only have the premium + sport and 4,500$ cash incentive and they claim they can only go down 2k extra and if I want any more then he will have to hold my Visa and talk to the manager. My guess is 3500 is the max I can knock off + the 4,500. Which will make the total 8k off,

so MSRP = $51,775 - $8k = $43,775
After tax, 12% = 49k ish..

Oh...Canada obviously has slightly different prices...best of success. Have you considered the AWD model...just considering the weather versus SoCal.

Cheers.

I don't mind, a rwd if i can get a better deal.

I'm thinking about buying a base from cali and shipping to seattle, if I can get my colour choice, the wheat interior the seattle guys are offering me is kinda turning me off.

I was under the impression Vancouver doesn't snow (or is rare). If it doesn't snow there, RWD definitely is better. Shipping is so much $ these days, I paid $1100 to ship from Cali to Buffalo, NY 6 months ago. Now, it'd be around $1700 with the same company (I guess gas prices are to blame).

I'm going to try and order/ship from cali, I got a quote from Able Auto Transport, Inc. From Sacremento CA--> Bellingham WA is about 860$

Anyone know of a better shipping company?

Also I notice some dealers in Cali sent me invoice for base journey, which shows a different amount compared to that of edmunds, anyone know what that is?

Current Configuration
99218
2008 G37 JOURNEY 2DR AUTO
KH3-C
BLACK OBSIDIAN, WHEAT

Invoice MSRP
BASE $32,413 $35,250
ACT $0 $0
ACTIVATION DISCLA

50S $0 $0
50 STATE EMISSION
Freight Charge $715 $715
Total $33128 $35,965

2008 G37 Journey Model (no options) Invoice = $33,595(edmunds)

So 33,595 vs 33,128?

About the ship quote, does it include insurance in case your car is damaged while being transported? What about top load placement instead of the bottom (so your car doesn't get road debris/stone chips)? Does it include the shipper picking up your car from the dealer (or else the dealer has to bring your car to the shipper). Those things add to the cost if they're not already included in the quote.

Infiniti is known to change the invoice during a model yr, so maybe Edmunds just didn't update yet.

Mhmm.. that makes sense, I'm going to call up a few shipping companies to get the details, thanks John! I sure hope not seeing the car before purchasing it won't bite me in the butt...

Do you guys think I should pay extra for enclosed shipping? or open? put on top load?

Why not buy yourself a cheap ticket from Vancouver to Sacramento then make the beautiful drive up the coast? You'll have that baby broken in real quick while saving yourself few hundred bucks.

I agree with Poggagga.

When my time comes to purchase a G37 I will head down and drive it back up, as I myself am from Canada and hate the difference in price up here.
