Thats the deal i got today...
I'm located in Houston TX, sold my 07' GS350, and bought my G37 today from Clear Lake Infiniti.
First time leasee, love to change cars two-three years.
2008 Infiniti G37 Journey, Premium, Sport, Nav, trunk mat, cargo net, splash guard.
MSRP $44030
Sale price $41295
MF rate 2.93, i have no idea what the 0.00xxx is.
24 months
12k per year
tax only $399 after tax credit since i have a trade-in
72% residual
$0 down
$657/month
$832 due at signing
Salesman told me its a good deal compare to my 2.9% financing.
I got an okay deal?

True, I know Texas, New York, and I think Arizona (amongst other states) has this, but it's not like that here in Cali.

He went $832 out of pocket capitalizing the acquisition fee, that's how he did it. Roll it in to amortization and you would find the figures to be right on.

That is one expensive acquision fee!!! i got quoted $900 total out of pocket plus $541 per month (including tax) for a car with a $44910 msrp. i plan on picking it up early next week. 24 month lease 12k miles via IFS. i have a 750 FICO score... i live in so cal.

In Texas, we pay full amt tax of the car when leasing.
I guess its the MF being high maybe? I have 720 FICO

I know right?! I wasnt so sure about leasing, but the salesperson told me the lease is much better off for me. Before the tax credit, I was quoted $751 per month as I remember. I'm no expert in leasing, thats why I asked whether I got a good deal, trying to figure out where went wrong if there is any. My total amt paid after 24 months is about $16000 according to the contract.
