convertibles are nice to drive in the sun/summer....unmatched by a hardtop...but the sideview silhoutte of the g37 is a big part of what makes it a g37....with the top down i feel like it might be sacrificing that...of course the fun factor of a convertible will probably outweigh that but still just a thought....

speaking of outweighing... the 37 is heavy enough as it is - I shudder to think how much more poundage the convertible will bring to the table.

More weight = worse fuel economy too. When the 'verts are released, we could have $5/gallon gas at that time!

I'd wait. Who knows what updates will be available in the next few months. A local dealer told me that an AWD version will be out before the hardtop retractable -- true or not, I'm waiting to find out.

I know I'll wait for the 2012 G37 i hear it will be way better. Wait Wait Wait the 2013 is suposed to be better than that. If you want the Car buy it . There will always be a faster newer better car out in the next few months. Just go and buy one now and enjoy it for a few years and then buy another.
