Opinions on this lease quote?

I received the following lease quote today from Suburban Infiniti in Troy, MI.

$530.00 month ($500.00 month + 6% sales tax = $530) for a 2008 G37S 6MT, Premium Package, Navigation Package, Spoiler, Splash Guards, for 24months/15,000 miles per year, with a 1000 down plus startups (tax title license first month payment documentation fee acquisition fee). The sales price for the lease was at $41,000.

I suspect that it is not that great a deal since Edmunds has the Invoice at $38,916 and the dealership said the MSRP was $42,825. Does anyone have an opinion if this is a good deal? Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by "sports?" The sports package comes standard on the 6MT version, right? I think I'm going to try to get it for around $39,000. Any thoughts?

i think the deals pretty high.
you're putting $1000 down.

you should be able to get car at invoice or lower

I wouldn't go for it for more than $500 over invoice. This should put you in closer to $500/month, taxes included.

Other than the high sales price, this is a good deal. If you could get the sales price down to $500 over invoice, your payment, with tax, should be around $460/mo.

Trust me, you DO NOT want to get it from Troy dealership. That Motor mall has all kinds of high end cars there, so they have fat head salespeople.

Check out Suburban of Novi, but your best bet is Ann Arbor Infiniti. they are more willing to deal, since its out of the city and have less of market.

Or you can do what I did and drive down to Ft. Wayne, Indiana for the best deal next to Cali. They shop around bank lease rates and will do ANYTHING to sell a G37, let alone a G37S with premium/nav packages. Trust me, its my 2nd lease from that delearship and they're awesome. Only 2-2.5 hour drive from Detroit.

Do NOT pay more then $500 over invoice...I got mine at about $250 over invoice...End talks with them until they contact you again...When they ask "whats up" say that another dealer offered the car at $500 over invoice and unless they can beat it your going to have to pass on their offer...I'd be SHOCKED if they didn't say that $400 over invoice was the new offer...Just play it cool...They lie to you about things, so you can feel free to tell a small white lie to get the price that MOST people are getting...
