Future Buyer_What's your OTD price? (Updated! Got the car)
Hi guys,
I should've post this earlier. Anyway I am going to purchase my first G37 on this weekend after a long talk with my wife. Hopfully I can bring the baby home and I am so excited to join the G family.
My baby will be G37 Journey w/ prem, sport, nav, kick and color guard. Haven't decided what color of the car.
I have read a lot of threads and see many people are only saying they get invoice or something for their G! I know each state has different tax %, but I am really curious about what is you guys OTD $$?
Also plz recommend me any good dealers and sales if you know one in bay area? Thank you.

Did my deal yesterday at 9% off MSRP. I have been negotiating with four Texas dealers for about a month and purposely waited until the end of the 1st quarter. Hope you can get more discount than me. I utilized all of my negotiating skills but 9% was the best that I could do. Good luck.

Invoice on that configuration is $38,759, BEFORE taxes
MSRP is $42,465
OTD 37 seems a bit unrealistic but who knows
I paid invoice + tax for mine
Edmunds.com is your friend - price your ride with options and go from there

Unrealistic, maybe...but thats what i got. No VPP. They basically only charged me for nav, prem and spoiler and threw in splash guards, cargo net, trunk mat for free. My final OTD price was 37,273 (before taxes)...good negotiating + a little help from referrals works wonders
Before this purchase I knew nothing about pricing (invoice vs MSRP), finance terms, lease terms, negotiating, etc...thanks to help from this forum and some friends I didnt feel like i got ripped off...this is my first car I ever bought, never even walked into a dealership before in my life prior to this purchase, and im young and did it all by myself, no help from parents or family members. Not boasting, just feel proud.

My car was priced at slightly over $42,500 - I was able to get it for around $38,500. (don't remember the exact #)
This included a 6 year extended warranty, paint sealant, spoiler, tint, trucking the car from Miami, and striping.
I negotiated on the car for about 3 1/2 weeks (told them a couple of times I wasn't interested anymore), and wound up buying around the last day of the month -when dealerships are desperate to increase their numbers. The finance guy at the dealership said we were the only new car sold the day I closed the deal.
OTD numbers for my sale aren't accurate - I traded in a 3 month old Altima Coupe 3.5SE, and this affected taxes and tag.

well my parents paid 37330 before taxes. paid 500 above invoice. the options were 6mt, premium package, spoiler, splash guards, and trunk net. the msrp was around 40.5k. this was a day after christmas and the dealership is located in ohio. we had to pay louisiana taxes, it came out around 2k if i heard my dad right. i thought he was wrong but i guess they only took 2k. louisiana has like an 8% tax.

Hey Tak, with all those free services (worth more than $500) you were one of people here getting really good deals! I did ask them to give me free oil changes for life and 15k, 30k service free, but they looked at me crazy
