Anyone Ever Buy A Car Out of State and Have It Shipped?
Hello all. I'm new to the forum. I'm considering buying a G37 in California and having it shipped to Texas. Has anyone ever bought a car and shipped it out of state?
I'm interested in hearing about your experience. I've always bought cars locally, so I'm a little hesitant, but it's a better deal than I can get locally so it seems.

why dont you give your car to Carmax, jasonviper ? You prolly wount get top dollar but you will get a fair price. Trying to trade in with an out of state dealer is fraught with pitfalls.

Don't do it... if you do, you're paying twice for the shipping (your trade and then again the new car). You're better off taking vrb747's advise and selling it to Carmax and paying off your lender if you still have a payoff on it.
Back to the original topic at hand, I've sold quite a few vehicles to out of state residents and they've either driven their cars home or had them shipped. Just remember kiddies that you're responsible in full for the taxes and registration in your home state once it arrives to you however.
