That sounds like a terrible deal. G37 at about MSRP and you must have lost $12K in about 1 year on your G35 with only 8000 miles.

You should ask for $2500 off the MSRP on the G37 and get a couple more thousand on the trade in at least.

I agree. They are making lots of $$ on both ends of that deal.

That's a lousy deal! Suggest you use a double-barreled 12-gauge SHOTGUN on that dealer!

Why would you even ask this question? losing 26% in a year is aweful. Sell it as a private seller, you can probably get $32k. And never pay MSRP, there's about $3000 mark up on the G37.

Send this guy to negotiate for you

i have had this car for 19 months (since new years eve of 05) paid 34.5k plus taxes and tags. so, i'm losing six grand in about two years time. the only thing i'm not comfortable with is the lack of willingness to deal on the price of the new car. if anyone is in the d.c./baltimore area and is willing to steer me to a salesman willing to offer something off msrp. please advise. salesmen usually send a couple hundred buck to those who refer them sales.

also, i've never been totally in love with the g35. not enough power, not enough luxury, not enough something, etc.. anyway, i saw a g37 in person and was very impressed in every aspect and don't want to wait 4 years like i did the g35.

I had an 06 coupe with every opt avail and tried to sell it to carmax My car only had 12000 miles on it and they were offering me 27500 for it I laughed all the way out the door and just gave it back to the dealer when I picked up my 08 coupe

I see, that was an amazing buy then on the '06 fully loaded 6mt with nav. Wasn't that a. 40k+ msrp? At 34.5k, it would have been 6k under msrp and about 2.5k under invoice? Especially buying in Dec. 05. for the '06 at that price, it was a steal. As for the g37, I know here in nj, one dealer is offering 1.6k off msrp. But I will wait a bit more though.

Don't go to Sheey infinity. Go to Nationwide in Timonium. http://nationwideinfiniti.com/

Go see Bobby Z. I am very picky and well aware of all the salesmen's pitches. Bobby along with the manager Paul Henderson were able to meet all my needs and expectations. I've ordered my car and it should be here Nov/Dec.

They also offer Oil Changes and Tire Rotations - FOR LIFE. They will work with you on your trade-in so have a realstic value that you expect to get for it. Remember, realstic is value for a trade-in, not retail! Check out what carmax will give, look at KBB (trade-in) etc.

Let me know what you think. Tell them Jake with the vibrant red sent you
