Hey Rob, I stand behind my decision to do the twin loop mufflers, I think they're really cool. Having said that, I'm extremely disappointed because the exhaust shop that did the work, caused my exhaust to have the worst rattle / leak and it has completely ruined my car's sound for the time being. Couple that with the fact that I've put off modding the car so I can do some investing and I'm hoping to do some big stuff in 2022 if the investment pans out.
I mentioned it in the sedan chat thread a few days ago, but basically I have some maintenance-type stuff coming up and I'm going to use that as an opportunity to upgrade. So based upon how much I gain from the investment, there are two scenarios that could happen:
1. Just do the "normal" maintenance. Brake pads, 2-piece front rotors (maybe 2-piece rears too). Also do 4.08 gears, Z Speed Stage 2 Clutch + Lightweight flywheel, Z Speed CMAK, Bell Diff Brace, fix my stupid exhaust rattle / leak.
2. Do the above, plus z1 headers, maybe JWT C2 cams, and re-tune.
All-in-all, I'm going to be dropping a few thousand minimum over the next year or two. If scenario 2 pans out, I will probably get my current exhaust fixed and just sell it and then buy FI 2.5" exhaust with 18" resonators. I've still got plenty of work to do on the G. 2021 just kinda sucked...
EDIT: E85 also became available in my area recently so I may get a map made for it by my tuner so I can switch between that and 93 as needed. I already have GTR 550cc injectors.

There's a station with an E85 pump about a 1/2 mile down the road, and there are always all kinds of modified cars lined up there. It's like a little meet-up every night, LOL.
Whatever you do, it's good to have plans. Write them down, figure out cost in parts & labor, align them to a calendar, and then shuffle things around. I started doing exactly that 10 years ago with the G, and it's really worked out well for me. It also gives you perspective. For example, I can tell you that I've averaged $2700 a year in car expenses (mods, maintenance and repairs) over the last decade.
For a practical application, the years you know you're planning on tires are the times you realign mod plans.

Thanks a lot for the help finding those! Right now, it's a bit too soon. Waiting for Q4 2021 + Q1 2022 to play out in the crypto market to see what kinda gains I make. That will determine how much I'll be spending on upgrades. If I do exceptionally well, I'm dumping like $10-12k on the G.

Never heard of that before, so I went to the website: https://antigravitybatteries.com/
Is that an $800 battery?

Haha, no way I'd spend that much on a battery! It's $399 plus $10-15 for car battery terminal adapters.

Until I read this post, I didn't know there were lithium car batteries. So now there's two reasons the car can blow up (just kidding... jk)

Finally got around to taking a short video of my exhaust since I got the FI catback last year. I like to record these for my own personal "documentation" when I get new mods and see how things have changed. I'll be making another one at some time in the future when I get 4.08s, clutch/flywheel, and possibly headers.
The stupid bugs were so loud it drowned out the sound a bit. I'm irritated because I also made a video of the intake sound (which sounded amazing last time) on my drive back toward the camera but the bugs completely drowned that out. I'll have to re-record it once it cools down this Fall.

That is one lonely back road.
Sounds good the way a FI exhaust should.
