Found my unicorn!

Folks, I can't laud the replacement key fob bodies enough. My electronics were good but both fobs had problems - my wife had taped hers together, and mine had the chrome flaking off all the buttons. These took 4 minutes to swap out the circuit board and battery and insert my oem key into the end and they work perfectly - and for $15 for the pair instead of the $ 60 I was quoted here or the $300 per for new full fobs.

So you bought a pair of empty fobs and swapped the guts? I didn't know you could do that.
Brilliant
Your wife drives you car, huh? I think mine has driven it once, nine years ago.

Well, I want her to have the option. She's pretty uncomfortable in the sport seats.

They come slow boat from china, but they got here in good shape. And yes, the stock electronics board just pops out - no melted plastic pins or anything.

So today I pillaged a 2010 journey in the local pick-n-pull. Scores:
Not a bad day despite risking heatstroke. Leather looks better in person - creasing is from sitting inside out. Ignore the daughter's art corner behind it.
- both front seat back leathers (I know the non-sport bottoms are different)
- replacement sun visor - the hinge on mine is broken internally
- headliner cloth - for the a-pillar with gauge pod
- two good taillights - to mod or replace mine with, not sure yet
- steering wheel with switches - to recover

Bumper on, no fogs and headlights untouched. Had to charge the battery - hope sitting for 3 months didn't kill it altogether.
I did replace the license plate lights. Old on left, new on right:
Old was stock light housing with cheap LED bulbs from ??? (came with the car). Right is iJDMtoy from Amazon.

On my goodness. Last night I started the bumper around 9:30 and it was still hot and humid that when I was done 45 minutes later I was drenched. My *eyebrows* were sweating. I just can't do this heat anymore.
My junkyard isn't quite so big -
And since the car was added the day before I got there, it was still up front near the You are Here dot.
They have an A-frame hoist that you can use to pull engines, but the place is paved with large chunks of lava rock so I have no idea how I'd get an engine actually out of the yard. I keep waiting for a 2012+ to be there on one of their 40% off days LOL to grab a spare mill.

Back driving the car. Guess I've got some rotor build-up since I now have a noticeable shudder when braking. Still brakes fine, so I think I'll just deal till Z1 has black friday deals on the two-pieces. I've got a few more things to sell on ebay and I can afford the Hotchkiss sway bars.
I'm being gentle since it still needs an alignment post-lug nut adventures, but... man I love this car. Got a thumbs up from lady in an M3 at a stoplight... Maybe she just liked my music.

I like your original comment too LOL. Since my wife works with execs at an aerospace firm... lots of them have nice cars. And more of them know me than I know them.
Yeah, the plan is 2-piece for at least the fronts, and Hawk 5.0 pads front and back, steel lines, and ATE fluid. Now I just need to find some Akebono high-temp stickers for the calipers - the AdvanceZone caliper paint is holding up pretty darn well. I need to look at the weight distribution numbers again - might be worth keeping the rears 1-piece to even it out some.

FWIW, my 2pc Z1 rotors are freaking awesome. They look amazing, and have a definite benefit (that really isn't a daily driver consideration.)
However, if I were to do it over, I'd pass and use the saved money elsewhere.

As a kind of to-do list for myself:
-leatherique the new seat leathers and existing rest of leather interior
-remove front seats again and install leather covers - remove sport bars on driver?
-install clutch pedal
-finish engineering projector fog mounting - need smaller washer bottle?
-compound trunklid
-install JDM emblemage
-finish gauge pod a-pillar
-run sender wires inside
-reinstall remainder of interior
-tail light mod
-decide on track mode switch engineering path
-port VQ35 manifolds, sell rest of them
-paint and install front lip
-decide what to do about rear spoiler
in no particular order, based upon parts that I have on hand at present time

I'm getting to the point there isn't much more I want to do that I don't already have in progress, except for tune. Closest reputable tuner seems to be Z1, which is outside Atlanta. I have friends (a car friend even) in ATL that I could crash at/have go with me, except he and his wife are both high risk.
