Here's a thought. Your fog rings are chrome. Some people paint them black, but by and large that only looks good on a black car, as a slippery slope of painting everything black. But you, having a car in Graphite Shadow, you could paint them body-color and it would still look right.

What if you had your fog rings painted Graphite Shadow?

Thats actually a really good idea... I'll definitely consider it. If I go that route, I should get the headlight shrouds painted KAD as well.

Graphite Shadow is one of my fav colors. My friend had his G-coupe in graphite shadow paint corrected and ceramic coated, omg did it look phenomenal.
I think it's a great idea to paint the chrome rings GS.

There's a very slight metallic flake in paint, but I have no preference. I think gloss black is fine.

That's a nice deal on the grills, how long was the turnaround? Looks to be quality work for sure!

I always liked the look of the N180 4Runner.

I'd avoid any Subaru with an EJ25D or EJ251 engine. Both are known for head gasket failures.

Turn around was about a week and a half for everything.

I should do this, my vinyl on the chrome won't last I know.

The vinyl will definitely last longer than paint on the grille. No matter what you do, paint on the grille will chip over time, but it's bound to happen. I'll probably wrap the black part on mine once it does.

I've been looking for an older Tacoma with a third pedal and 4x4 ... so far no real luck.

Out with the old and in with the new! RJM V3.1 clutch pedal is installed. Didn't really adjust it yet, but I can already feel the difference. I noticed that the clutch is much more predictable now and doesn't really spring my foot off of it the way it used to. So far so good.

Did you remove your front seat for the install, or complete it as is? I saw posts of people building up the area outside the car and went that route. Rubbermaid, moving blanket, and I could then lay on my back "comfortably".

That's exactly right. The pedal resistance is more linear and predictable.

In a few days, it will become the new normal, which is so much better than the old normal.
