Small update

Ive been wanting to update my interior a little. So i removed my carbon wrap for the interior trim and had them dipped. Dipped the vents as well. Wanted a little more shine. Main reason why i did it. Also changed the door inserts and the center arm rest. I have the inserts for the rear also i just havent gotten around to it. Anyway. On to pics.

Really like the hydrodip work. Seems much more real than vinyl wrap, as if Infiniti offered a CF Trim package, it would have looked like that. I even like the door inserts, although the color is a little bold.

But the shift boot and armrest... OMG, no. Horrible fitment, and tacky. As long as you're happy, I suppose, but I don't get it.

The shift boot just doesnt fit. You need a trim ring under that ball ****, and the boot should lay inside the shifter area, not pillow all around it. And if it were me, I'd ditch that armrest cover. Just write it off, and go back to black. Or get some black leather and have a leather shop apply it properly.

Not hating or trolling, OP. I think you've a great project car here, with tons of creative elements.

That hydro-graphed interior work is top notch, really goes so well all around. Having all the vents and extra trim detailed that way looks excellent. Do agree w/ Roch on the boot, and center armrest though.

The shift boot ive had for quite some time. A buddy of mine bought it for me. So i worked off it. It might be a little much for right now, but it will all tie in together when i get my seats.

i definitely know its not everybody's style. Thats what makes us all different.

Never been a fan of the dipping, but I can say that i'm impressed that they were able to get the pattern correctly flowing. With the quality build you have, im surprised you didnt go with real carbon?

I just realized the word BRIDE is all over that fabric. Aw man... my opinion of this Project Blue of yours is sinking fast. I'm sorry man. It all looks so amateur. I hope it gets better. At a minimum, start by ditching that awkward, ill-fitting armrest cover.

And louith, the G is equipped with an active headrest system, where the headrests move forward in the event of a front-end collision, to save you from neck injury. Those neck pillows of yours will negate that feature, and pretty much guarantee whiplash. There was a moment a few years ago where I thought neck pillows would be cool, and even bought a pair. Although actually comfortable, they ended up somewhere in the corner of my attic, or maybe in the trash.

And to repeat, like other comments here, the dipped dash & door trim looks fantastic. They really do.

The price of real carbon was thru the roof. I couldnt justify it. The dip work my buddy does is pretty good. Looks amazing in person

No worries. The bride fabric was something i always wanted. Ill hang on to it for a bit. Who knows.

the neck pillows are for shows and pictures. I find them a tad uncomfortable lol. I dont drive with them.
