I'm still looking into the GPS. I think I've found one on Amazon that should work for Android, just haven't pulled the trigger on getting it yet.

Are you able to do a screen/app share from your phone to the Android stick? That could be useful for navigation instead of having to get additional modules and use the GPS from your phone.

I haven't tried it yet, but I do have the paid version of Allcast. I'll give it a try and report back.

Well, I tried a couple of apps in hopes of being able to cast my screen ala Chromecast to my Android stick. No dice. So for now that solution is a no go.

Not much new in the mod department. I did put together a little video of the before and after with my Beluga axle back. First time using AfterEffects too. Nothing special, but I figured I would post it up on here.

I love how you were able to post up each mod with updated pictures and videos man very very nice! I gotta do a thread soon my car will be going through a HUGE transformation within the next 2 week and this thread was a good motivational tool for me to do something similar throughout the process :-)

See, that's what I thought too. I'm going to have to take a good look under there and see what kind of springs I've got. Just haven't done much crawling around under it since it's been cold lol.

Nothing New so far build wise. The weather here was nice enough one day last week to give the G and the Benz a bath. Then I took a few pics of them together.

Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I've posted anything here... All my mod money had been going to the purchase and modding of my motorcycle.
It's a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. My first bike.
Anywho, I just wanted to say I'm back and working on the G again.... and boy is there a lot being done!
I've ordered some exhaust goodies that should be here this week:
Motordyne XYZ pipe with resonator
Z1 Motorsports HFC's
Z1 Motorsports UIM
I replaced the worn steering wheel with a broken cruise control button with a brand new wheel.
I've also updated my gauge cluster to the 2011+ version.
Here's the before and after:
And for anyone that is thinking about doing a cluster swap be warned: It's a PITA! I considered doing a DIY on it, but I got fed up with the process about half way though. But just for fun, here's a pic of everything that needs to be removed to get the gauges out:

For those of you that noticed the check engine light illuminated, it's due to some issues that I'm currently dealing with. The first of which I'm fairly certain is the dreaded timing cover gasket failure. I'm getting the low oil pressure and camshaft timing OBD codes. The car has been pretty much sitting in my garage the past two weeks because of this. The second issue, and this just popped up the other day when I started it up, is a random multiple misfire code. It will start running rough and smelling very rich.
My solution to all of this is just pull out this motor and drop in a low mileage replacement! For the cost of repairs on an engine with 105k miles on the clock, I can get a long block with less than half the miles on it.
I had also planned to get a lightly used Stillen Supercharger kit, but that ended up falling through. I think it's for the best though, spending roughly half the value of the car on one mod (even though it would have been a blast to drive) just wasn't justifiable to me in hindsight. Not to mention every vehicle I've had that was given a substantial upgrade in power ends up breaking itself.
