Excellent idea. Dovetails well into your NISSAN badging.

Agile

Fast

Fun

Impressive/Cool (actual Japanese car slang- the rest are just literal translations)

The problem I am running into is that Japanese words seem to be significantly longer than English words and we only get 7 letters on our plates here in WI.
For the last one, you could use Sugoi - alternate usage / Kansai-ben spelling. Meaning 'so cool' or 'great!'

If I didn't convince you to google habu - it is an okinawan viper. The okinawans called the SR71, while stationed in okinawa in the 70s, habu because the chines sorta resemble the snake when up to attack. SR71 is also called blackbird. A famous Skyline was the motorex in-house R34 GTR-V, they called Blackbird. It's a long way around but it does track LOL.

I googled habu and figured you had a Viper at some time. I actually had Sugoi on my first list, but the word itself did not seem to have a lot of presence by itself on a license plate- hard to explain.

Well, I'd say I *wish* I had owned a viper at one time, but I saw too many of them pack it in nose-first going under the bridge at VIR.

On the other hand, I'm starting to like cars that want to kill me again, so maybe I'd be OK with one LOL.

What about "Ikku yo" or "ikkuyo" ? Literally means "all right" but translates as "let's go". Again, Kansai-ben informal tense. Can be used as a challenge too.

So I did a poll at work with plates choices I narrowed it down to and the results are below in order of popularity with the 1st plate being the most popular. I encourage you all to vote or make suggestions. Thanks!

I think it's a statement, a declaration.. As a question, it would be more of a challenge than an inquiry.

Go for it. And by that I mean, GO4IT.

I also thought of the "got milk?" campaign when the GOT 6SPD idea popped into my head. I was hoping most people would think of it that way. As a statement it sounds like I am unable to speak proper english.

I also just thought of another plate idea I had when I 1st got plates for this car: 4DSC. I know that is a Maxima thing, but my car seems a lot more like a sports car. Unfortunately, only about 3 people will know what the hell it means. Speaking of plates that are tough to understand, I was really liking the TANOSHI plate lately. I did a google search to see what people would find and it is a kid's computer.

More than you would think, but yes, it's a Maxima thing...

...unless the decal is custom, and you put it on any car you want.

I do remember your sticker campaign. It is still on Maxima tail lights, but no one has ever even mentioned it.

Thanks for everyone's input on my license plate ideas. I have it narrowed down to these 3 plates. Please feel free to give me your input or ideas. And please make sure I am not missing some meaning of the plate so I can avoid another "save the millenials" plate.
