Some pretty serious bragging rights going on here.

GTHaus Initial Review
Honestly I don't know where to begin. To say that I am extremely happy with how awesome this exhaust sounds is an absolute understatement.
At first I was very worried that it would be extremely loud all the time and that it would be difficult to live with on a daily basis. Well let me tell you that this is not the case. Yes it is extremely loud, truth be told when I was standing behind my car for the first time waiting for my mechanic to turn it on it startled me a bit, I may or may not have flinched.
Anyway... so after letting it run for a about a minute my mechanic puts it back on the lifter to check for any air leaks. Everything was leak free except for the axle backs. For whatever reason GTHaus made the cutout on the axle back that allows you to slide the axle back over the center pipe a little too long, and I mean by a fraction of an inch. Both sides had a very very very small leak, nothing to be too concerned about. If I had to nitpick at something to be my issue with this exhaust this would be it.
After we put my car back on all four wheels he backs it out of the garage for a couple of pulls, and man is it loud (see video). It literally got my adrenaline pumping. At this point I had mixed feelings. On one hand I was extremely happy and could not wait to drive it myself, but on the other hand I was worried that it would be way too loud inside and that there would be a lot of drone.
I get into my car and start driving away and I was extremely surprised to find out that at idle its not loud at all inside the car, you do hear a very deep verbal, but nothing that is obnoxious. Its a little loud when you are accelerating from a stop, but once you hit cruising speed or start coasting its virtually inaudible, which honestly shocked me more than anything. It sounds a little but higher pitched inside the car, whereas the outside is much deeper.
As I was driving into work I was playing around in manual mode to get it to down shift and started notice that people were looking at me with a surprised look on their face. I even noticed that a couple of people that I went screaming past had caught up to me at the stop light. once I got off the interstate, and had rolled their windows down, which I was sure that none of them had them down previously. Of course I gave them a little show.
In all honesty it has made me happy with my car again.
Now for the pictures...
I'll post the videos once they are finished uploading to YouTube.

Sure is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Love how those tips maintain the OEM oval design, while totally improving on it.
Um, stock cats, Kirk? All that money into the catback, but keeping the OEM cats?

In this picture of his new exhaust from the chat thread... I'd say so, too.
Can you bring the cans up another half inch or more, Kirk? Are you going back to the shop after a while so that they can review the system for leaks and fitment? Not a bad idea after driving around for a week or two. Given the money spent on this exhaust, going that extra mile for Perfect is entirely reasonable.
BTW, what was the money? $3K? That's what their website adds up to before shipping.

Awesome addition Kirk, nice that it's exceeded all your expectations. Should be pretty easy to raise the cans up half an inch.
The quality of these pipes, the welds, fitment, and the overall look is just so high.
Definitely in for sound clips, just to further the jealous road we're all going down w/ you

I made the same comment when I was looking at them on the lifter. They sit a little low for two reasons, one so that the Meisterschaft logo is visible, and two because to tips are actually pointed down to prevent water from getting inside the cans when its raining. At least that's how it was explained to me.

I'll say that I got the set up shipped for less than what the MSRP on the website.

I'm very happy for you, man. And more than a little bit jealous. But honestly, you need some aftermarket cats to lower that tone a notch or two.

The tone should deepen a little bit more as the pipes get seasoned, but not as much as it would if I were to pair it up with a pair of RHFCs. Definitely worth some research.
