I don't know, maybe its the way the wheel sits on the G when its aired out.

That is because on the G the A arms hit the top of the area that holds the shock tower (the frame rail?) which stops the car from lowering anymore. The only way for the front to go lower is to cut that area to allow for the A arms to prodtrude - then the last thing to stop it would be the hood.

Perhaps the Audi's suspension allows for more suspension travel so the front wheel "tucks" more or maybe the fender is just thicker.

Could be. I'm not sure though, bags are still new to me.

I'm biased I guess but same here, plus we can have BBQ and beer seems to work. When I first moved to Pittsburgh from NJ I used to drive back every six or eight weeks to get my hair cut at least after having it butchered badly four times.

Aired out the Audi is sitting right on the shock tower/frame rail, sounds like their next step is to do the cut out also. I "think" it's more the shape of the wheel well and where it lands when aired out? I don't know. I don't dislike bagged cars, not sure I would go that route but that's what I'm saying today. In any case I find the bagged Audi a bit more appealing than a bagged G.

I also could be because David hadn't set it up where when it's aired out its even lower like most of the G's are either. I had a long conversation with Natalie about that yesterday, and it was kind of the same thing that David said that maybe the bags that she has are smaller which allow her to literally lay rails on the ground, which I'm not a huge fan of. Personally I wouldn't want to go much lower than David had the Audi, even when aired out.

Gotta show brotherly love from one Lexingtonian to another. I guess I can consider myself a Lexingtonian, I've been here (for school) for 6 years now.

Agree, I would never get an air suspension unless it is a cup kit. I was just trying to point out that maybe the Audi is more appealing to the eye because the front fender appears to cover the wheel more evenly with the rear whereas on Drew's G the difference is quite noticeable and makes it seem kind of odd.

I do know that the front fender arch on the G is higher than the rear so maybe that partly contributes to the optical difference as well.

Nice! Expect a full report, specifically regarding shifting by Monday evening. I'm still leaning ECUtek which I now have to put on hold because of the other money you encouraged me to spend.

Tony I think you may have hit it on the head that may be it. There's a show on the 17th I think I'm going to go to I'll have to check it out and see if that's the case.

So I guess its about time for an update...

I got a call the day before I was suppose to have my car tuned to tell me that I needed to bring it in so they could copy my ECU and send it into UPREV and have them unlock something. Honestly I was kind of confused, but I wasn't able to make it to the appointment due to life... I still need to reschedule the appointment.

I purchased a set of Skyline illuminated kick plates and had them installed. I'm quite happy with it. I wanted a set of illuminated kick plates, but thought that the Infiniti ones were a bit played out, and then came across these.

For those who don't follow me on Instagram or saw my post in the chat thread, I purchased a new daily driver, a 2008 Ford Crown Vic police interceptor with 87,000 miles. It's been nice to drive a vehicle that I don't stress about rock chips or that I can run it through a gas station car wash, or not worry about all of the salt on the road getting my car dirty...

Probably not. I don't want to commit to the JDM swap. The kick pastes are just a nice little JDM touch.
