Alfredo, my mechanic is planning on re-using this bracket with some custom welding for the matching hangers.

Well, I suppose that would work even better. Please try to take some pics when you get this done. I might also do it then.

Not this time... I'm dropping the car off for the day so he can do it on his time, without me hovering around.

Well, that's too bad. Thanks for the idea anyways.

But you know what's even worse? Having the pulleys in front of me and not being able to install them. That red is so metallic and shiny.

I'll quote NST:

"The NST Kit includes a 10% Underdrive Crank Pulley along with a 10% Overdrive (faster) Alternator Pulley. This means that the alternator will run at OEM speeds when the NST kit is used. Extra power, torque, and response... no need to worry about a weak battery, dimming lights, or poor a/c performance at idle. "

Some updates. A little of bad news for my before/after dynos :/

So, as some of you know, my FI RHFC broke

My Mod + Dyno Log-frzu7hh.jpg

I would have to send them over to see if they could fix it. Nothing guaranteed (since my muffler shop tried to fix it) and with the wait time and cost of uninstallation, plus shipping and reinstallation (if the fix is possible), I didn't want to risk waiting so long for nothing.

In the mean time, I purchased some MXP double resonated test pipes.

My Mod + Dyno Log-uss2dc1.jpg

I will be getting these installed along with my newly arrived NST pulley set.

So as for my dyno log, there won't be much of a mod to mod comparison now, since I will be switching from RHFC to Resonated test pipes plus adding the NST pulleys and the effect of the lightweight wheels will add even more HP/TQ.

But for now, hoping that those 3 changes will give me gains of ~15whp. Hoping for a final reading of 315whp.

15 seems pretty optimistic, Alfredo.

Figure an imperceptible 2-3 hp with the LW crank pulley, and another couple HP by eliminating the cats... high-flow notwithstanding. Will the shop be re-tuning the car after the mods? Probably a good idea, because of the test pipes.

They will check it to see if it needs retuning.

I figured the switch to RTP would yield ~3-4whp, pulleys would give at least ~5-6whp (the NST dyno yielded 10whp), and wheels another 3-4whp, but who knows what could happen.

Was thinking about ~15whp gains somewhere in the middle, but wrote ~315whp thinking that would translate to max hp.

Well, now I'm optimistic for 309whp lol

Thanks.

I'll still be doing before and after dyno runs for all the future mods.
