Thanks! Nothing beats an OEM part.

on the other hand, I did a ECU reset about a week ago and Im starting to feel better torque with the M370.

hopefully I can get tuned by september.
Did you paint the grill yourself? I'm thinking of doing the same. It looks way better IMO btw

A local paint shop did it for me. I wasn't charged anything since my family has known the owner for 10+ years. Still gave him some money though.

Just a normal gloss black paint. Nothing special.

What mod do u see yourself doing after a tune? For me I got clutch/flywheel upgrade and 4.08 gears... I'm gonna tune my car after the drivetrain upgrades to tune appropriately that freed up torque...

He's got a 7AT, so he won't be doing any of that. I'm also curious as to what's next for him and his G. Maybe F/I..?

4.08 sounds tempting, but a bit worried about the highway mpg and higher RPMs.

I don't think I will ever be going F/I on any car again. Last time I spent over $10k in less than a year for the setup and it was never perfect. It was a VQ35DE that was badly tuned and it blew up. Twice. One stock engine and another with forged internals. Bad experience with two different mechanics and I can't afford that again. Luckily, I was able to recover by selling the turbo parts.

Next mod would probably be the NST pulleys, since they are only about $250. Still researching about that and debating it against the 4.08 gears.

Btw, Im waiting for my tuner to call to set up an appointment for the tune

IIRC, the shorter rear gears are a plug & play mod for the 6MT and a fair mechanic, but takes some skills for the 7AT. And that you lose your cruise control. Not that it matters if you don't do a lot of highway driving... and you're worried about highway mpg.

Wait, don't you live on an island?

40 x 110 miles of island. I've known people who had daily commutes longer than that. That actually sounds about perfect, because 100 miles is all I can go before I have to pull over and run into the woods.

Didn't know it was a harder install for the 7A/T. I have also seen ppl managing to get the cruise control to work. Not sure exactly how.

My highway trips would be pretty short, but Im a bit squeamish about riding on higher RPM's. Makes me feel like Im wearing out the car.

I will probably still do it when I feel like I ran out of all other mods lol

Lol good troll comment DM-37 ...I remember he has a 7AT. . The clutch and flywheel is for me. .. Puerto Rico highways do run pretty long. .. drove from San Juan to Ponce and back in 24hrs... not an easy drive lol.... my island is 32 square miles with MANY hills so miles per gallon be low (11.2 mpg @ 14.7 mph)

Go thru with the pulley mod tho

lol. I've been there various times. Streets are also pretty small.
I will see how the car feels after the tune. Hopefully, I will be satisfied and can hold off on the pulley mod for a couple of months.

Be careful with lightweight crank pulleys. A cheap pulley can fall apart, and an expensive pulley feels like good money wasted on bragging rights. Also, I was having this discussion (about crank pulleys) with a mechanic friend who warned me that engines boosted or tuned into higher revs can actually have issues with a LW pulley, with a resonance vibration that can wreck things.

I have only checked out the NST pulleys. Its an underdrive crank with an overdrive alternator pulley. Still checking more about that, since I have always been skeptical of lightweight pulleys.
