new goodies. Thanks to B2autodesigns for ridiculously fast shipping and incredible price, especially shipped to PR.

Don't worry. I won't dare to install it before dyno'ing the car.

So...?
  1. Dyno
  2. UIM Install
  3. Dyno & Tune

Albert says his ARK exhaust completely changed tone and volume after the tune. (i.e., louder)

Im gonna see if I could get the dyno appointment sometime this week.

Had to google NST. Hmm. NST - NonStopTuning - The Leader In Sport Compact Pulley Development

I had an Unorthodox Racing lightweight pulley in my last car. UR makes a good product, but you also pay good money for it. While a light-weight (or under-drive) crank pulley is not something you're likely to notice in a 350 hp car, you might notice the car revving a little quicker in neutral. No wait... that's a 6MT thing.

Regardless, every little mod adds up.

I found about it on the370z forums. its a 10% underdrive crank and 10% overdrive alternator pulley which allows the alternator to run at OEM speeds, so no worrying about weak battery, stereo, or other side effects of going underdrive on the crank pulley

here is more about it:

NST (NonStopTuning) 370Z VQ37HR Pulley Kit Review w/ Dyno Charts - Nissan 370Z Forum

NST had some issues on a GB, but there are no complaints about the product itself.

Finally

Picked up the car from maintenance at the dealership and since the dyno is located right next to the dealer, I passed by it and luckily was able to get some pulls.

My Mod + Dyno Log-hvagbcs.jpg

gains were 8.06HP/2.41TQ comparing to the previous FI RHFC and Gen 3 dyno that gave 283.61HP/234.80TQ

(wasn't able to compare the files since the tech lost the old files after switching to a new computer)

not too bad for a CBE

One bonus video of a run:

Nice info!!! So the exhaust does help! 8hp to the wheels is pretty good! Plus the weight savings is also helping a bit. Did you run for the exhaust? I can't remeber if you have tuned yet..

this thread is AWESOME! Really puts into perspective what types of mods do what HP wise and why... especially for the people like me who don't know too much about performance modding. Definitely learning a lot by reading here. Subscribed!

Better not Alfredo, you've been really providing some valuable step by step additions, can't go against that at this point.

Really appreciate you taking the time to document everything and adhering to your own personal mantra of noting each individual mod & it's true pros &/or cons. Your numbers are climbing nicely, looking forward to the Motordyne review
