I had the stillen dual exhaust on my z and by comparison to this one on the sedan, I think the g is a little quieter and a little muffled. Personally I think the Stillen stuff sounds best, but that is totally subjective. If I were building a track car I would want something obnoxious, the stillen stuff is probably the most classy sounding stuff I have heard. Not that there is anything really wrong with the sounds of other exhausts, it's just what matches the street look of the car that I am building, if that makes any since.
Intake was a little challenging to install, you will need a dremel or other precision cutting tool to install and more than likely you will need a roll of adhesive padding tape from home depot due to the close clearance on the drivers side intake, which usually taps the inner fender well on startup and rattles a little at idle, easily eliminated with this foam sided tape. The exhaust was really easy as some are on install. Did it myself no extra hands.
I will upload a pic of under hood in the morning.

So to answer your question, no, no hood interference. BUT remember you will have to open up the pass through where the stock airboxes were in order for the intake pipes to get where they need to go. You will need a cutting device (Dremel or similar tool) to do this and where you have to cut will be real close to AC lines, cutting those would be bad and pricey.

To run the Z1 headers you have to run their cats or test pipes because the bolt pattern is the DE engine bolt pattern. Some of the best sounding cats I have heard. Kinetix stuff is raspy where the Z1 stuff has zero rasp and flow much better due to the fact that the header collector and cat inside diameter of the pipes are the same size.
