Thanks for the tip about the larger filter blnewt. Will definitely go to that next time. I'm glad my phone skipped to the newest post on this thread. I'm only up to page 78. #man'snovel
lol, you should just drive over to Johns place and see his build firsthand, you're probably only about 10 minutes away
Ha I've already seen it. Unfortunately I didn't know most of his mods at that point. And, I'm not sure I want to see it again, makes mine feel inadequate

About 10 minutes away, that's right. We met 3 weeks ago, talked for a little bit, and went for a short drive. I had to cut it short for a minor emergency with one of my kids.

It's the exact same car, man. I just got stuff on mine, is all.
I've been working on a spec-sheet for the meet-up this August.
Nice job there, see you have been staying steady w/ your mods and maintained high quality throughout. A blueprint for how to do things right the first time.
I know it's not much of a milestone, but when the car is low mileage, every 10K feels like a big deal.
Hahaha. Nice! Very Coincidentally I just clocked 60K on my G. Double yours! Eek!! Of course mine is a 2008, so in maybe 4 or 5 more years of driving you will catch me.
Hey john, when are you planning to put those coilover on in the front ?
Coincidentally, I was just reviewing and reorganizing mods this morning, taking vague 2017 plans and organizing things to the month.
As intended mods, I've been grouping the front CO's together with front & rear end-links, and a front camber kit. And honestly, as things stand right now, that's not on deck until 2018. Possibly even 2019. Some of the prioritization hinges on when it's time to deal with the OEM brakes. Right now they have 30K miles on them.
It's a 10 year plan for ownership, and I'm almost at the mid-point.
I'm frustrated having put off the 4.083 gear swap longer than I wanted to. Really want to do that Spring 2017.
This winter when your car is hibernating you really should DIY the headlight & caliper paint, I know you'd do a great job, as your engine bay shows what you can do!
