I think they're pretty rugged looking.

That said, there are flaws in the finish that I've discovered when I washed the car this weekend. At first I thought it was an anomaly, and I was thinking I'd bring it up to the dealership. But then I realized all the wheels suffer similar flaws. The painted/clear-coated finish is thin and unpolished in at least two of the nooks and crannies on each wheel.
So... pretty, but not perfect. Not like the finish on my Vossens, which was flawless on Day One, and same three years later.

Bringing it back to the dealership would probably be the worst thing you could do seeing as they are most likely responsible for those very flaws. I always opt out of having the dealer prep my cars. I'd rather get the car dirty and correct the paint myself than having them ruin the clear coat, especially on an already soft / weak Infiniti paint.

A buddy and I are going to take our vehicles to a Cars & Coffee event tomorrow morning at a local speed shop. I have no idea what to expect, but it should be interesting, and I'm bringing my camera.
My friend's car is a P100d, so I'm sure he'll get a lot more attention than my humble, bolt-on G Sedan.

Cars & Coffee
There's a local speed shop here in Rochester called "The Little Speed Shop". It's an impressive looking enterprise, supporting daily drivers, modified vehicles, and hard-core race cars. I visited their business a few weeks ago, to scope it out for occasional work on my G37. Got a little tour, and met one of the owners. My mechanic of 10 years is becoming more and more withdrawn, and it's looking like I'm going to need another trusted shop. Anyway, TLSS seems like a top-notch operation. I was told they hold a Cars & Coffee once a month during the summer. Coffee, donuts, and maybe 50 cars all all types. Having coffee in hand to walk around with, that was nice. Seeing two huge racks of donuts show up... priceless.
It looks like TLSS primarily services BMW and Porsche. I went there with my car, and my friend's Tesla P100d. Curiously, his Tesla was mostly ignored, which was so weird, considering it was likely the fastest car there.
Oh, and I attended with the only Infiniti on the lot. The only one.

You know what... I don't know. I didn't hang near my car for questions. We were there for about an hour and a half, and there was almost always someone walking around it. So I'm guessing people were surprised seeing a G37 as a sport sedan with a 6MT, but that's just an assumption. Could be most were just mocking the trunk badge, LOL.

Looks like a very nice turnout you guys had there. I think my favorite is that 240Z.
Regarding the Tesla... I'm not really surprised it didn't get much attention unless you don't see them often by you. Out here they are all over the place and generally just get ignored. They are also very boring cars (to look at) so most gear heads don't give them much notice even though they are spectacularly fast. Nothing against your buddy, but amongst all of my car buddies I don't know anyone that would actually want to own a Tesla... unless of course you are looking for a very expensive and very fast family hauler. Even then I'd probably take the new E63 S AMG with its 603HP "biturbo" 4.0L V8 over a comparably priced Tesla Model S.
