2.1's definitely not awful, but not great either. My best 60 ft times so far were around 1.9x and that's with lowered air pressure and very good track conditions. Although that was with my 285's on the rear. Haven't had it to the strip yet with the 305's out back.
If you can get your 60 ft time below 2 seconds, then you should be able knock almost a 1/2 second of your 1/4 mile time. That would be very easy with drag radials, but I'm thinking with some more track time with the new set-up you may be able to get there without drag radials.

I think I'll be going to 255/45 fronts and 285/40 rears (NT05R), it's keeps a good rolling diameter for the AWD. I need to experiment more with the launch control or brake boosting too. I'll probably play around a little bit more on the street tires just to see if I can improve more.
I've looked at 305's too but don't know if I could get them to fit well.

Have you checked out the MT street/drag tires, from what I've read they hook up better than the Nittos~and one of the few that actually has plenty of 18" sizes.
ET Street S/S ? Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels
*EDIT Looks like they only have 275s and wider in the 18s, DOH!

I was eyeing the 305's but would have to buy new rear wheels as well to fit. Still a possibility as long as fitment would work out.
