Car is becoming almost a daily driver. I've got 360 miles on it and it's running better every day.
I sent a PM to Sam@GTM with advice wished for my next phase of fuel needs. He would know best. I've got too much at stake to allow fuel starvation to occur now. Awaiting a response and a direction.
All is well.

Hi Al,
I do not recall the injector sizes for a STG II Gtm kit, nor the pump capacity. That's why I PM'd Sam. Sam or Mike...??
I would like to handle 650whp on race fuel. I think the block/trans could stand that well. I am unsure the fuel system, as supplied, could.

Coop I think you have 600CC injectors with a walbro 255LPH. This is the standard set up for most stage 1 and 2 set up's I have seen.
I would put in a at least some 725 ID's or 850cc DW CJM re turn fuel system Dual walbro's from CJM.This is what I am doing with my built set up.
This a G37 that made good power on a low reading DD.

Thanks guys. Yup, you're all on the mark. Here's the note Sam has sent me:
(underline is mine)
Jimmy from The Shop is confirming this with Sam today, and we'll get going. I'd go for the 750's.
I have gone this far on strength, I'd certainly be foolish to rely on fuel supplies for a 550whp-capable setup to run 650whp+.
It's only time and money. LOL!
In the meantime, the car, at the 500whp setting, even with 'low compression' is a hoot. My trans is SO much fun shifting firm and sharp, that I feel like King of the Road.
News soon...

Jim,
Glad to hear things are going well.
You will need our Return Fuel System, 650cc/min injectors, and a Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump. 650cc/min is the minimum I would put for that power. If you think you may go for more power, I would go with 750cc/min injectors to be safe.
Our turbo kit comes with 600cc/min injectors and won't be enough for 650whp.

Definitely agree, you've gone a long way to cut corners with your fuel system!

Nice work Coop, Glad the car is doing well. And also nice to see the 600CC's are good enough for 550WHP, I'm adding some things to my kit and shoot for 460-480 WHP, The Stillen 600CC's I was a little worried about till now,
Injectors smart man going a over, You can always dial down the inlectors but cant always dial them up.

This is not the case with a supercharger as far as WHP goes. A supercharger uses more fuel because of the parasitic loss of supercharger, takes power to make power. So you will run out of fuel at a lower HP level that a turbo car.

Coop, do you ever track fuel economy while driving this beast? I know that it is an inconsequential cost when compared to the build cost, but I am interested to see the impact.
I am weighing the costs and benefits(hobby fun) of DIY FI vs. simply buying an OEM turbo car.

No. Inconsequential to the overall cost and aspiration.
It's not unreasonable, and certainly when you drive it sanely it's 'normal'.
That said, I have spent enough NOW to have equaled purchasing a used GTR for $60k. Although, if I did, I would be in line for $$$+ modifications all the same. We don't leave them alone, no matter how they begin.
No one wants to be 'average', although we all wish to be 'normal'.

I've got about 700 miles on it now. I've been able to run it through the gears a few times. It feels just as strong as ever.
Parts and card were charged on 7/15 for the fuel components. Still no delivery. I have my fingers crossed for a delivery this week? (Hint, hint....)
Until those components come in it's still incomplete. Receive, install, tune, dyno/road test = Done.
In the meanwhile, it is STILL a boatload of torque and authority.
