DBA offers drilled/slotted, but only this configuration:

They can't offer it in the conventional drilled/slotted because of the kangaroo paw design, it would weaken the strength of the rotor if they did.

I just got these in Friday, they look beautiful. These are DBA 5000 Series Discs, and our own CZP 6061-T6 Aluminum Hat. These hats are based off the same tolerances and specifications that DBA uses for all their 5000 Series 2pc Rotors. We are going to test these for 30 days, and then put them into production with a release date to follow.

With our past experience, we tried to cut down the weight as much as possible, but we kept having cracking and warping issues. So we decided to go with more durable disc, and a thicker hat. The DBA Kangaroo Paw Design provides this stronger disc, but with more material, there is more weight. The combination of the Thicker Hat and DBA Kangroo Paw Design, each front rotor will weigh 22lbs, which is still 8lbs lighter then stock. We were thinking of going with a thinner 7075-T6 Aluminum, but then the price would almost double. But we are very happy with this setup now, mainly because of the durability and quality.

Hats are bare aluminum right now, but they will be anodized black or maybe a signature color if we get enough requests. There are no plans for rear 2pc rotors at the moment. Pricing looks around $650-700 per set, or $550-600 when sold w/ a Akebono Kit. More News to come

Nice Coz

So, are you guys only planning on offering the slotted 5000 series rotor, or also the XS 5000 series version?

Should be ready just about the time I'm needing to do the brakes

Blank 1pc or 2pc (DBA?)?

What brand/type of pad are you guys leaning toward with the 2 pc slotted or xs rotor? (if you know at this time)?

2pc Blank, we are going to test the New Stoptech Performance Pads, they are used on all the Stoptech 2pc Rotor Big Brake Kits, so we should have some fun with them

They are not sold individually, I'm sure they are just a common cap, but I have to search around for the correct size.

Oh man if you could find out for me that'd be great because the guy that painted my brakes just painted over the whole thing and now I'm trying to get it back to the stock color I need the bleed caps and that bolt like thing underneath it.
