Sport suspension

My 2011 w/sport suspension is right at 122k miles and as i plan on keeping it a while longer, im looking at changing out suspension now and enjoy it rather than when needed....car is not bad/floaty etc or anything like that, but definitely not like when new, so looking at opinions/options on what to get to keep near stock sport set up- I had considered a mild drop with the tanabes nf210 and thought maybe just replace the springs with tanabes but what shocks work best for OEM or even better ride set up etc...the drop is not a must as i have lived with it this long, so not a major issue, but open to it if i can make it work...

For about two months I’ve been running a set of Swift springs and low mileage 370Z sport struts, and it’s been a huge improvement. Since you’re now used to the soft springs and worn out struts, the steering will feel amazing after upgrading. My long term plan is to upgrade the struts to Konis, but the used Z struts with 25K miles were about $140 shipped and well worth the money and a Saturday afternoon.

Swift seems to be the most popular with G37’s from what I’ve seen, but I think that was also because they work with stock struts. I personally picked them because they put the ride height exactly where I wanted without having to be adjustable. Whatever you pick, it’ll be worlds better than what you’re accustomed to.

Thanks and Yes , I read a lot of posts for swift but was concerned on the drop being over 1inch and then camber kits needed etc...how's your ride height and any adjustments ? So yeah, hope for a new feel type as the car now has aged, but yes your approach sounds good, so will look for some z part outs etc as that price is nice for my susp budget lol..

The drop listed at about an inch and a half only seems like a lot because the front fender gap is so huge on these cars from the factory. I haven't had any problems with scraping, and it's not nearly enough to require anything expensive for alignment. My Z1 rear lower camber arms are probably overkill, and I mostly got them to eliminate the factory eccentric for better strength. Looks wise, I'm in love with the way the car sits, and it's not slammed at all.

Thanks and yes, funny how the gap doesn't bother me until I start to really look at the car ....then yeah...so swift and Konis may be a good setup...still leaning on tanabes just for price and drop being minimal, at least based on some older posts , so wondering how they would work with 370sport struts....I'm not driving the car much , only weekends so trying to minimize how much i put into it at this point , and as Dentt42 mentioned , at these miles on oem susp, most anything will feel better ....thanks

you could put on a set of shocks and springs off a 370z nismo and get .5 inch drop and will still align to factory specs
