Front spring upper mount

So I have my car dropped with tanabe nf210 springs on the front and did the rear spring upper mount diy shaved off about 5/8 inch. Well supposely.

The shop seems fishy and I don't know if they did the install correctly and actually shaved off the rear. See the picture below, it all looks stock.

I know the springs takes time to settle in but I just don't trust this shop.
What i'm going to do is go to another shop and have them inspect everything to see if it was installed correctly. If they say front springs were installed correctly, I might have them cut off maybe quarter of an inch on the front spring upper mounts. I know it's not advisable for the front and I have searched for pictures for the front spring mounts but I couldn't find any. HOw much room can I play with the front spring mounts? How much can I cutoff at most without sacrificing driveability?

I have attached some pictures of the springs installed. Sorry about the bad quality and I couldn't get a good angle to get a good shot.

The fronts look ok from the pics, not much you can do wrong in front. The back spring bucket has a recessed tray for the spring to sit and that can be askew but the front not much there to mess up. I'd give it a few days then reevaluate if they were just installed in the last 24 hours. Can you get the back jacked up and actually see those rear rubber cones to confirm if they've been cut down?

I wouldn't try to do any alteration to the front spring or mounts.
Hope it's just a settling issue.

If it doesn't settle in the next week or so, I'll just buy different front springs and as for the rear, I'll have someone cut some more.
