Wanting a very mild drop

I have an 2012 g37x sedan and springs for my car is very limited. Eibach, swift and tanabe? That's about it. All these springs offer over a 1 inch drop which I don't want. I want maybe about a 1 inch in the front and about .5 on the rear.
So I have been reading upon this.

370Z springs experiment - G35Driver

Basically you get some 370z springs and put them on with slicing the rear upper mounts about 5/8 of a inch. Of course that was with a g35, I have a feeling it will drop even more on the g37.

Other option is impul but I don't feel like dishing out $500.00 for just set of springs.

Is there any other options besides buying full set of coilovers?

Coilovers probably won't get you a mild drop either, most drop at least 1" in back at their highest settings. Here's something you might want to look at
