Just swapped out to some new wheels and I notice the plastic hub centric rings from my current wheels were all melted and deformed. This explain the steering wheel shakiness when driving from 50-65mph.

Bought a set of aluminum hub centric rings from Amazon for about $10 and hopefully they will last a while.

Look like mine over time, they're only good if you remove your tires like NEVER!

And the aluminum ones cost about the same

I've run plastic ones the last 3 years over 3 different vehicles without issues. I only run them in winter though which may help keep it from melting.

And if you plan on taking your car to the track you DEFINITELY want metal hub centric rings. I used plastic rings once and the wheels moved around so much that they screwed up the threads and the base of the lugs to the point that I had to break off the studs just to take off the wheels. Not cool!
