Source of front squeak?

Looks like a gasket is out of wack? The orange piece. That's my driver's side. Passenger's side appears normal. Never mind that greenish leaf on the left.

Yeah, those gaskets when damaged could cause squeaking, also your upper control arm bushings may need some lube.

As I suspected as well. Guess I need to dig around. Thank you!

Dealer took a quick look when I got my battery replaced today.

Guess I'll hold off and replace that $20 gasket when I need to replace my shocks/struts. A $20 part isn't worth a few hours labor. lol

At least it's nothing to be concerned about. Just annoying.

Squeaking is one thing, knocking is different. The latter can cause mounting holes to elongate resulting in costlier repairs.

perhaps use liquid rubber spray.. the one with the thin straw attached to it for accuracy..
jack up that corner.. loosen top bolts and uncompress the assembly but putting downward pressure on the wheel then spray..
when youre ready to replace.. you can just pull off the rubber... just a thought..

Not a bad idea. Even thought of trying to shove it back in somehow, too. lol
