Rear camber arm options

Hey guys,

So i got my wheels on, went for an alignment today and im runnin about -3.5 degree camber in the rear with the stock camber arms maxed out so in order to dial in the camber to get closer within specs, im gonna need that camber kit.

Any one use the ebay kits for our Gs? Any thoughts, reviews, advice if you have? I know the SPC kit is pretty popular but obv a bit more pricey. Any advantage to using one kit over the other besides the generic "u get what u pay for"? Just seems like a pretty simply constructed part generally speakig so just curious to know whats really the difference maker or if im fine picking up a $60 set from ebay

If you want to cut corner w/ price I'd go w/ the rear SPC toe/camber bolt setup. Rather than a rear camber arm you use a rear camber bolt w/ more travel (the same setup as the SPC toe bolt). This involves elongating the toe slot AND the camber bolt slot w/ a dremel tool. Here's the kit you need (and you'll need a total of 2 kits for the rear end).
SPC Performance Camber/Toe Cam Bolt Kit; Pair, Reqr's 1 per Wheel INFINITI G35
And here's the instructions

Don't think the camber bolt will get back to -1.

To the OP:

Don't go cheap, even buying the SPL Titanium arms are cheaper than a pair of tires.

Yep, the best it would get is 2 degrees less, so around -1.5, still probably good enough w/ proper toe.

ya, done a little bit of research on this subject after seeing some Ichiba rear camber arms in the classified section here at a good price but from what ive read, these things are a nightmare. Saw a couple pics of these snapping clean in half. Im all set with that, I better go SPC or SPL route, nothing cheap

Don't skimp on suspension parts. Ever. Period. SPC/Eibach is a minimum starting point. As mentioned, the SPL are the way to go but pricier. Don't buy any knockoff brands, your safety and life and that of others driving around you hangs in the balance. Is saving $30 worth it?

Thanks.

I wish more novice (and even experienced) modders understood the safety and reliability aspect of modding better. When most modders start modding, they first gravitate toward whatever they think looks cool (slammed, stretched, HIDs in reflector housings, etc.) rather than learning the physics of how different parts of a car actually work together to do what they do. The static and dynamic forces placed on a car's suspension is something most everyone takes for granted because over time the technology and manufacturing process has made it work almost flawlessly most of the time. However it's an engineered system and changing one thing has drastic effects on the entire system - even the parts you didn't change.
