I have a 08 Journey non coupe and am inte@Lt8Che as I recently purchased a new set so now I have 8 20*s staggered and would prefer to run a square 20*10 all the way around as the 8.5" don't have the concave look. I recently created a post. My rims as is pretty much have no sidewall and of course I didn't get one with a lip. For now I'm leaving it as is because it's likely only notices or to me and stleast I have back up rims on an EOL model. The 10" are all offset 38 yet sit about an inch from flush. I have spacers but want to try to figure out which way I want to go in regards to refinishing the curbed rear spokes. Also now considering havibf a set painted professionally since I have 8 rims. Size diff in front on 8.5s is 30 where as they are currently installed with 38 offset no spacers. Stock height. Def need to add those 1" spacers for a better flush.

The rear suffered more damage. 20x10s 38 offset I'll prob take these to a pro to try and restore. I'd really prefer to run all 10"s as when I initially purchased these rims I was expecting the front to be concave and look like the rear 'spiderlegs. I tried to sand em but probably made em worse. I was just going to buy one rim to replace this but the set of 4 were equivalent $ to two new rims. These are also EOL so I figured it never hurts to have a spare. So now I have 8 rims Damage of passenger 10x20 iincluded.

So I have TSW 19x9 +32 wheels with 245/40/19 tires on them at stock ride height on a 2009 G37X Sedan. At his height the rims are even with the top of the fender lip. I'm wanting to put on coilovers and drop the car down about 1.5 -2 inches I was initially thinking I would have to purchase different rims to get them to fit in the wheel wells, but I've spent an hour going through the first 550 posts of this thread, will probably keep reading through it.

Question, as I drop the height, the tires will move inward, will this current wheel/tire setup work well when I drop the car?

This is my winter wheel and tire setup, if this works dropped I'd like to get another set of the same wheels for summer tires. Could I fit a 255 tire and not rub? Would I want a 40 series or a 35 series to stay closer to the same circumference as the 245/40/19 snow tires I'm running now?

What would I need to do to keep stock camber settings once I lower it?

Will these wheel clear the Akebono's if I upgrade later?
thanks for your help.

245/45/18 Firestone Indy500’s mounted on 18x8.5 +38 offset OG TE37s. Factory sport springs/dampers w/ no spacers. Wheels clear the Bono’s with 2-3mm clearance.

Hey what's going on everyone. I've been lurking around for a while now and I would like some input on my next wheel and tire setup. I have a 2012 AWD G37 sedan on BC coilovers and I would like to get some meaty 18inch tires square setup. I have a budget of $1500 Any recommendations?

Hello - I'm considering a Q40 AWD sedan.

I favor the older Journey OEM wheels;

Is it possible to run the 8.5"s all around for a "square" setup that I could rotate? Or is that too wide for the front? Would I need to run the 7.5" all around to accomplish a "square" setup? And would that screw up the offsets in the rear?

Alright, I'm losing my mind. I'm going to drop my G37x Sedan on Swift springs in the springtime next year. I thought I had done my homework but I received some bad advice from a sales rep I think. I also have searched here up and down and can't seem to find someone who wants to run the tire size I already ordered, with my wheels that I was going to get.

I ordered a set of BF Goodrich G-Force Comp Plus 245/45/19 and was going to get 19x8.5 +30mm wheels. Will that set up work still? Or should I return the tires and go with 19x8.5 +35mm with 245/40/19? I see a ton of guys on the forum here running 19x9 +35mm, why instead of 19x8.5? Isn't 19x8.5 ideally what you'd want for 245/40/19?

If it helps, I live in the northeast and have a mountain of a driveway, I don't want to poke because I fear rubbing and/or smashing my fenders. On the Swift springs I was hoping for almost flush/slightly tucked. Or will lowering achieve that anyways?

Looks like most people on like Fitment Industries running a 19x8.5 +35mm with 245/40/19s on lowering springs have a pretty nice fit.

Enkei PF01's. The front +45 offset does not clear the upright so a 10mm spacer and extended were used. +35 all around would work just fine as there is plenty of space in the rear for the extra 10mm's. I have the rear spacers and studs sitting waiting to go on.
Car is lowered on Tanabe ComfortR Coilovers sitting at:

G2F Front: 27.25"
G2F Rear: 26.87"(Maxed out height)

Front: 18x9.5 +45(+35 w/spacer) on 275/40 MPSS
Rear 18x9.5 +45 on 275/40 MPSS

Thoughts on running 255/40/19 on 19x9.5 Konig Oversteer wheels on a stock 2011 G37XS sedan? The wheels come in +25 and +40, not sure which offset to go with?

If you really like the Konig Oversteer, I'd recommend part number OS98514455. This set is 19" x 8.5", 45mm offset, and 5x114.3 bolt pattern. This wheel combined with a 255/40-19" tire is nearly identical to the wheel & tire combo I ran on my 2012 G37xS sedan that fit perfectly. Take a look here to see the fitment of a 255/40 tire on a 8.5" wheel, it's pretty ideal in my opinion:

Debating here, just bought my son (who's been the Army for a year now) a 2013 G37 X Sport Coupe. 19-8.5-19 square wheels all the way around, I think the offset is +43. Factory setup was 225-45-19 square which really looked stretched on the wheels. Trying to decide between square 245-40-19 or 255-40-19...anyone running this square setup or have advice? TIA for any help!

Got new wheels a few weeks ago. Motegi mr154 in midnight blue, 18x9.5 +15 offset. Continental extreme contact dws06, 265/35/r18. No spacers, stock brakes but planning for OEM big brakes at some point.

Does anyone have really big brakes with 18s? I'm at a car show today and a dealership has a really stupid good deal on wheels that I've been wanting but they're 18x9. They should clear the Akebonos but I don't know if it makes sense to go slightly more narrow on a coupe. Plus I want these brakes as a pipe dream eventually and it would be nice to know they fit.

I couldn't find a lot of results searching this thread for 18x9 so I appreciate anyone's help.

I'm pretty sure 18s will clear it diameter wise, offset is what you should check for clearance.

Work Emotion ZR10 19x10.5+30
Bridgestone Potenza Sport 275/35/19
No spacers

Around 5mm of clearance between the front BBK and spokes. Also around 5mm of clearance between the inner rim edge and the steering knuckle/spindle. On Tein Flex Z coilovers with SPC rear camber arms and SPL end links F&R. Soon to install Z1 race FUCA’s to add more negative camber up front for a more flush fitment. Need to add some positive camber to the rear wheels and also lower the car another half inch.
