Did I get it? LoL
We've got a bingo! There may be a way to get a custom hubcentric spacer w/ the Infiniti bore where the spacer meets the hub and where the hubcentric outer part of the spacer would fit a certain aftermarket wheel bore. Not sure if possible but might contact Charles@B2Autodesigns and see what he says, they have their own quality spacers and may be able to do custom setup.

The only thing I notice going from 18" to 19" is that I hear the expansion joints in the street a lot more as I drive over them. Other than that I really like my setup.

Looks pretty good for not being lowered, wheels look proper on that sedan too, decent choice there

Hey Guys,

I have a Q60 RWD. I'm interested in getting the RPF1s in 18" square setup. What would you guys suggest for width, offset, and tires? For tires I'm kinda sold on Potenza RE71Rs.

These are the sizes they had on their website:

As far as lowering it, I'm gonna use this car for the canyons a lot so I don't wanna be slammed, I'm thinking Koni shocks/ Swift springs? Any insight on this would help too!

Thanks!

Depending on how much tire you want to run you could go w/9+35/9.5+38/10+38, the tire sizes in those RE71Rs are quite limited, there's only one size (the 245/45/18) that's close to OEM diameter. If that's not a concern then running the 255/40 and 275/35 would be options, but the 275/35 is about an inch shorter.
Do you have the big Akebono Sport brakes? If so you'd have to confirm clearance, I believe they will clear but always confirm when ordering.

The Hankook Ventus RS-3 Version 2 comes in a 265/40 which would be a great choice on those 9.5 & 10" widths

Nitto NT05 is available in the ideal 275/40 which is almost exactly the same as the 245/45 diameter which is very close to OEM diameter, it ='s a max performance summer not an extreme performance summer. Several guys on the site w/ SC motors use them.

FWIW, here's Lt8ches coupe on 18x9.5 +30 running 265s, this would be almost the same fender fit as running 9.5 +38 on 275s but you'd have about 2mm more wiggle room He's on an Eibach spring drop.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm gonna go with 18x9.5 +38 with the RS-3s in 265/40.

I don't have the Akebono brakes but I plan on getting them later.

Do you think I would need to roll my fenders if I'm dropped on swift springs?

EDIT:

I just checked TireRacks site. They have the RS-3s in 265/35, they also have RE-71Rs and RE-11s in the same sizes. If a 265/35 would fit I would rather buy the RE-11s. Please let me know. Thanks!

That link above on Lt8ches coupe shows that you'd have plenty of clearance since he's running the same width wheels and same width tires but on 8mm more aggressive offset. No fender work would be required, if there would be any rubbing it would be on the rear fender bracket but w/ that extra 8mm in your pocket you'll be ok.

As far as the 265/35, that's 1.38" smaller in diameter or about 5.5% different than OEM diameter. There's guys on the Z boards that run smaller tires on the track to get the stiffer sidewalls and give themselves better launches since it essentially changes your final drive ratio, but I wouldn't recommend such a drastic change for daily driving.

Might check the Bridgestone site or contact Neal@Tirerack and see if they happen to make either of those tires or possibly another brand that you like in the 265/40 size.

I like your set up. I plan on having something similar to this. How do you like those wheels?

No fender work but we will see now it works this low. Drove it a lot today with no rubbing!

Those STRs have a nice concavity to them, looking like a good fit, little snug up front, might have to flat roll the front fenders at that height, but that's a simple fix.
No center caps??
