Suspension "squeak", strut tower bolt never tightens. What now?
I just got Eibach Pro's installed on the frontend of my coupe 2 weeks ago, giving me the perfect drop. A few hours after installation, I noticed a sound which can best be described as a 'squeak' whenever the car's weight shifted between driver and passenger side (I could recreate the sound by shimmying the steering wheel left and right while driving)
The sound went away, until this weekend... I hit a pothole pretty bad, and my right shock (the installer said it was on its way out) started clunking over bumps. I started shopping for Koni Yellows, but today that sound went away completely, and the squeak came back
After an annoying drive home from work, I lifted the car up and did some visual troubleshooting (inspected bushings, checked wheel for wobble or excessive play, looked for anything that might look broken or disconnected)... all looked good to my amateur eye.
Then I popped the hood, and checked the bolts on what I'm assuming are the strut towers? The driver's side was tight, couldnt move any of the bolts. I discovered the passenger side's respective bolt (shown in attached image) was SUPER loose... I tightened it, but its still nowhere near as tight/torqued as the driver's side.
The plus side is that tightening it seemed to remove the sound completely on my test drive. But I'm still unnerved by the fact that the screw seems to be able to spin indefinitely - is this indication of something broken?
Thanks in advance guys

Nice grounding wires.
That nut is on the strut rod. It doesn't tighten because the strut rod spins freely inside the body. That's normal. To tighten it, you'll need to hold the strut rod in place to keep it from spinning while tightening the nut. You'll need to use 2 wrenches, one of them being an offset wrench. See photo.
