Wheel/tire Size for G37X Sedan

Hello,
I know search is my friend but to be quite honest after reading the various wheel/tire posts I'm more confused than when I started. lol

Anyway, here's my question;
I have a 2013 G37X Sedan with stock 17" wheels. I want to switch to 18" rims and push them out so that they are flush with the outer edges of the fender wells. I don't plan on lowering or changing camber angles. I don't really want to use spacers. I would like to keep the car as close to "stock" as possible so that the speedometer and AWD system are not affected.

Okay, maybe that wasn't my question but here it is now;
Can someone please give me a simple answer of what wheel offset and tire size is needed to accomplish my quest?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Willie

It's not real simple but using the calculator will get you close. Plug in your current wheel/tire combo on line one and plug in various values in line two until you get the fit that you want. Use a straight edge from your current setup to the fender and you'll see how many mm you'll need to get to a more flush fit. Here's the calculator
https://www.myg37.com/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php
And your current wheels specs should be
17x7.5" +45 on a 225/55/17
So try a 18x8.5 +35 on a 245/45/18 tire for starters and see where that takes you
Entering those will be~
Inner Clearance:
2.7mm less

Outer Position:
extend by 22.7mm

Diameter difference:
-0.06" (-0.24%)
Keep in mind diameter for new tires needs to be within 1% for your AWD to function properly at high speeds, and the 245/45/18 is the best choice in alternate tire sizes (for an 8.5" rim).

to help clarify,
i have a +38, and it sticks out a little, for me its fine because i stretched my tires, so to get it flush, i would stay like +40.

also, if you are not going staggered, the 1% diameter rule doesn't apply to you, AWD will be happy as long as your fronts and back are the same, you have to keep the difference between the front and back diameter within 1% ONLY if running staggered setup to keep the AWD happy.
