Is the chrome Infiniti symbol removable from the wheel cap?

Reason I ask is so I can paint the wheel cap but keep the Infiniti part chrome still.

Thanks

If I remember correctly it's all one piece (at least they were in 07-09), you should be able to put painters tape over the logo and just use a sharp blade to cut around the logo, then paint & remove tape.

Yea like blnewt said it is not removable on our years but don't know about other years. I just left it chrome when I had my stock wheels powdercoated. The chrome lug nuts and the center cap make the wheel stand out more

I'm working on the same project. I just had my stock sport 19s powdercoated gunmetal and asked the shop to paint the center caps to match but leave the Infiniti logo crome. It's all one piece so masking off the logo is the only option. The shop didn't want to do it because the grove around the logo makes masking very difficult to get perfect. They were scared of screwing it up.
I'm going to try it myself. The guy told me to use an exacto knife to trim off the tape around the logo but be very careful not to leave blade markes by pushing to deep. If I screw it up just paint the entire caps. I want to paint the lugs too.

Might try some thin mylar type tape , might be able to get around that logo pretty clean w/ that tape and would have less area to worry about the exacto blade.

The Mylar option sounds good. I tried the painters tape and it worked but without being transparent it's harder to follow the grove with the knife.

As you can see from the back the logo and cap are one piece.
