Rotors keep warping, switch to DBA rotors?

So joo you replaced the entire caliper rather than just replacing the pistons and a caliper rebuild? I guess I'm just cheap but that seems like a colossal waste of money.
OP if it were me I'd resurface the OEM rotors first. If that doesn't solve it I'd replace pads and rebuild the calipers. Only if those easy and cheap (and most likely the correct measures) solutions didn't work would I spend big money on different rotors or calipers.

You have it completely broken down. Looks like the rebuild labor was free.
I presumed the Akebonos were expensive. I guess I never priced them. I replaced rather than rebuilt the rear calipers on my old Maxima but only because they are cheap, had a rebate, and only cost about $20 more each to replace rather than rebuild them.

Also brand new calipers are only $90 each.

A lot of the time what one thinks is a warped rotor isn't. Pad material or excessive amounts of transfer film from the pads can build up on the rotor surface. When you brake the pad skips over these high spots causing a warped rotors type feel. I would lightly hand sand both sides of the rotors and rebed the pads first before turning or tossing them.

Yea I would like to know as well where you got a caliper that cheap. I have seen new ones from 250 and up. I have a whole set of rebuild seals just waiting to go in after I figure out what color to get mine powdercoated.

Ditto.
I would like upgrade the brake system so that the rotors don't have to be turned so often. I would rather buy something correctly sized and engineered rather than pay them for bad engineering.
What exactly is needed and what kind of total budget am I looking at?
