Sooo...your wife's car is a G37 vert? If it's for the vert be aware that there are no rear camber kits. So you will eat through tires quicker with camber wear. The vert is 400lbs heavier than the coupe so the car will be with just over a 2 inch drop. In the vert forum someone had the vert H&R springs front and rear. But the pic is no longer there

I have H&R vert front springs and SPC front camber arms. I'm using Eibach springs on the rear. I think it would be the same height on the rear or just slightly lower is H&R rear springs are used.

Since it's the wife's car, I'd suggest Eibachs over H&R even more.

Which iForged are you getting?

I have been calling all day
First call:Tanabe
They do not make a coil over for the vert.I asked if the coupe coil over will work.Reply:He told me to look on some fourms (My G37) and see what other people have done.
Second call:Eibach
They do not have a spring kit for a 2012 vert,Only 2011.I asked if the 2011 would work.Answeron't know.A coil over is what I need,But could not tell me who builds one for the vert.
Third call:Swift
They do not make a spring kit just for the vert.A lot of guys are using the coupe kit and they say it works. They have not done any R&D on the vert.
I asked about coil overs. They told me to call Fortune Auto. They build custom coil overs.
Home - Fortune Auto North America

I will call them tomorrow.

Fourth call: H&R Springs
They make a spring kit for the vert.1.5"front 1.4" rear.
I know they drop the car more then that.

I would really like to find a coil over built for the vert with a good ride.I think BC is building one,But from what I have heard they are not for a D.D.

Does anyone have any more info on a coil over or springs that will only drop the vert around .5" rear/1.0" front.Them I will not have to worry about camber kits that do not make for the rear on the vert and not **** off the wife with a slammed car.

Oof, I know where your friend works then, haha. He's pretty nice if he's not charging you, in which case I'd imagine that iForged doesn't really know about it.I would just make sure he gets your offset right!

If you want affordable coils, have you tried CKS?

They will not have the iForged name on them.I am leaving the offset up to him.+30f+35r I think? He has been building wheels for over 35 years,I will leave it to him.Remeber it is my wife's car LOL?Hell,I might even see how it looks with out lowering it.Right now it is 28,2"f and 27.7 rear height. If I could just get the front down a little.I don't really like the racked look that much,But I am a old man....

I am not looking for affordable ,Just want to find something built for the 2012 vert.

Now I need help picking out which coilover to go with.

I talked with BC Racing and they now have a tested coilover for the vert.
From what I here BC coilover are a little stiff even on the soft setting.

KW3:
Ther coilover is the same for the vert or coupe. They have a progressive spring,Not a linear spring.I have only heard great things about the KW3.

Fortune auto:I have heard good and bad. They also make a coilover for the vert.I am told to upgrade to the Swift springs for a good ride.

Any input from anyone that has any of these coilovers would be greatly appreciated

I've got the H&R for my winter setup along with koni yellows, the drop is absolutely perfect, but I'm also in a sedan which is 100lb lighter than the coupe.

Is this correct? The sedan is a 100# lighter than the coupe or the vert?

I like the H&Rs. Had them in my 02 Maxima SE and they rode great so I went with them for the G. Just installed yesterday. Be warned, the drop on these springs are more agressive than disclosed on their website. In the rear it dropped 1.75"..in front 2". Wasn't looking to go that low but will have to see what the alignment comes in at....

For the vert you may be able to get by w/ some stock Z370 springs, I've heard the drop is less than an inch but a stiffer spring rate than stock G springs.

Ooops just noticed the thread is pretty old w/ a refresh, probably already solved his dilemma.
