Sorry to rehash this, but if I compare post #11 (VossenWheels) and post #9 (1CleanG), there seems to be two very different predictions there... #9 makes it look like I'll have plenty of tuck (great!) but #11 makes it look like I will be too flush for my comfort zone.

Please note I'm looking at a +35 offset now instead of +32.....

So, the question: With 20x9 +35 on F&R, and Tanabe NF210 springs in just the front, and no other mods, will it poke or tuck? Poke is definitely not for me, so it's important to me that I get this right. I would rather have it too tucked. And I definitely need it to be able to drive it in normal conditions without any chance of rubbing.

BTW, I have Tanabe NF210 springs in the front, sitting at 27" F and 27.25" rear.

When I tried the rim calculator, a 20x9+35 made 20.7mm "less tuck" on all corners than the stock 18x8+43 journey wheels. That scared me a little and it's hard to visualize on my car.

Can you get a set of 20 mm spacers to test fit? If so then put them on the front with your current wheels and that's how far the new wheel will protrude from your current setup. There's no better way to visualize it than that.

I guess I can do that. I did not expect this to be such a frustrating process Ready to spend the $. Know the look I want. Can't get it done.

I said this earlier on and want to just reiterate after your comment above. The calculators are set-up on the premise that everything is equal. It does not take into account camber settings.

So the same exact specs on one car may look tucked in where on another car it would sit more flush.

I hear ya soundmike... Therein lies my frustration I think. I can't seem to get an answer that makes me *confident* that a 20x9+35 setup will be slightly tucked as I want, with no camber change. If I could be sure, I would order them now. <<<-- basically have been saying this for almost a month.

A +32 won't poke out! Far from it. Reason mine looked so flush was because amber was at -1.4 and I was running a 255 tire. Other than that it is not that frustrating just might the 32 offset.

Per BlackBetty's suggestion, I'm ordering a set of 20mm spacers, so I can see what my 18's will look like with 20mm less tuck, with my current suspension height. I can sell the spacers later. This will give me the in-person measurement/feel and I can go from there.

So here is what it looks like with the 20mm spacers and Tanabe NF210 on the front only (stock rear).

This is roughly equivalent to the spacing-out I would see with a 20x9+35 (a 20.7mm change).

I put the photos in the official wheels setup thread so others may find it useful too.

My conclusion: Adding 20mm will give me a pretty flush look, no poke, no tuck (to MY eyes anyway).
