Motive power bleeder - pseudo review
Just flushed my brakes with close to 2 liters of Motul 5.1 using the Motive Power Bleeder and I have to say, this product ROCKS. I've never bled brakes faster or more effectively (or easier) than I have with this product. Did the entire system on my own, and in just a portion of the afternoon (would have been faster if I was using a proper shop jack).
Thanks for the several folks on here that recommended it- I never knew about it until I read your posts!
Oh, and the results- noticeably firmer brake pedal under heavy braking (the initial pedal feel didn't change much, which doesn't surprise me) along with more perceived braking power.
It's a great investment which I highly recommend to any shade tree mechanic.

Agreed +1. It's really a time saver especially with just one person to do the job. I've had mine for a while now and it's paid for itself many times over - Brake Bleeding

Did you run the pressure at 15psi? I did 10 because of the warning on the bottle not to exceed 15. Figured it was safer even if slower.

Haven't decided yet. There's a performance shop down the road. Gnna see what they have.
Leaning towards Motul or amsoil as of right now
Can't wait to use the power bleeder after I put the SS lines in. Gonna make it so much easier than doing it the old fashioned "2 person" way

If you're swapping lines, I highly recommend a followup bleed a week later to get all the pesky trapped micro-bubbles out that stuck the the walls of the system during the initial fill. The vibration from driving will agglomerate these small bubbles into larger ones that will more readily evacuate the system when re-bleeding.
