Stance sc-5 Matte Black rims on G37S 2008
Hey Guys, I am almost finalizing on my decisions on buying the tires and rims for my 2008 g37S 2dr with BBK. I want to know if:
20x9 + 32 front with 245/35/20 yokohama sdrives and
20x10 +35 rear with 275/30/20 yokohama s drives on rear.
Will cause any rubbing, fitment issues? WIll i need to roll fenders, shaving of brackets, lining modification?
I am not expert on wheels and rims. Please assist.
I am also going to purchase BC coilovers and the SPC F and R chamber kits. I want a flush setup with the fender. Nothing to crazy

Currently on stock suspension. Going to upgrade to BC coilovers. If i do a drop, how much can i go to prevent those issues of rubbing? I am trying not to do any modding to fit the rims and tires.

I See. Thanks PCasey. How much do you think I will need to drop to remove the gap between the wheel and wheel well? Also, would you know once i install them, will they sit flush to the fenders?

Its essentially the same as most people run on Vossen CV series with the 20x9 +32 and 20x10.5 +42 or 45. With your coils you will be able to adjust it to your liking, it will look WAY better with a drop. You can check on the Vossen wheel post up thread to get a better idea....

Thanks PCasey. I will definitely purchase them from a member soon.
I will have a set of Pristine 19" sports stock wheels, tires, TPMS, and lugs for sale. Tires have 3600miles on them. About 95% thread. How much would they go for? I am in NYC.

I'm not trying to slam my car, but want to be flush and low with the dual concave look. Planning on running a 10mm spacer in front and none in rear. I was told I would need some stretch in the front and the 245/35/20 was the way to go... I want to be a bit aggressive, but not at the risk of running through tires like crazy. What kind of camber am I looking at? Didn't you have a similar setup? Your help is appreciated.

Well if you dont go pretty low your wheels are gunna poke out a decent amount. You need to go low in order for the wheels to camber in. I ran the +27 275/30 with hankook and had to run -2.5 camber and shave bumper bracket down to nuthing, as well as adjust damping and sways to stiff. Other tires such as falken and toyo have a natural stretch to them so they are good to use on some set ups. I guess just mimic Wlmgtn's set up since he did the dual concaves. I would probably use falken 255/30 front and falken 275/30 rear, but regardless your looking at doing modifications. I dont think your going to be able to just throw them on and drive without any rubbbing...PM Wlmngtn and see what he says.

Thx for your info PCASEY. Just for comparisons sake... How does the above setup compare to my current setup of oem sports 19s with 20mm spacers all around with 1 finger gap all around. I have no rubbing issues now but did cut back some of the fender liner for tire clearance.
