Brake Vibration and Loose Steering

Tried searching for this topic on the forums, but no luck.

So, I'm driving home this evening doing 75-80. Had to brake for a slower car that jumped into the left lane (go figure). Hit the brakes and a couple of things happened: (1.) LOTS of vibration from the brakes; (2.) Steering wheel got REAL loose and "wobbly". Has anyone experienced this before? Fixes?

My G is bone stock and only has 9,500 miles on it. FYI...the road surface was concrete (I live in TX) with no undulations.

Thanks!

sounds like a warped/defective rotor.

if it only has 9.5k on it, i'd take it back to the dealer asap and have them fix it.

It sounds like another case of Brake Judder, search the TSBs, you can blame it on infinitis cheap pads for leaving deposits on the rotors and causing uneven braking surfaces.

Machine the rotors fresh, go with an aftermarket pad.
