Warning....New Stance....
I had to borrow the title from Tevi and Eric...it is just too good not too
So im going to detail the trials and tribulations of getting my G to sit the way i want...and hopefully wrap this up with the end result.
Current Mods:
Coils: Tanabe Sustec Pro Coils
- Dropped all the way down in the rear
- Fronts are about a half inch from being put down all the way
Rims: SSR-SP3 in Super Black Chrome
F: 20x9.5 +25
R: 20x10.5 +30
Tires: Hankook V12
F: 235/30/20
R: 255/30/20
Spacers:
F: Ichiba 25mm
R: Ichiba 15mm
Misc:
- Running -3.7 camber in the front and -3.8 camber in the rear w/ factory toe settings
- Front SPC Camber Kit added 4/13
- Bolt inside the rear fender has been cut, bumper and fender are riveted
- Slight shaving to the inside of the rear bumper
- Top Front fender liner has been cut, hood cable relocated
- Front fenders have been rolled
- Plastic engine cover underneath the car has been removed
* all these mods are unnoticed to everyone, but these are the ones that are most important for clearance and no issues with rubbing/scraping. These mods will not change the aesthetics of the vehicle unless someone does these mods incorrectly. When done correctly all these components appear stock
So originally i was running the same Hankook tires in
F: 255/35/20
R: 275/30/20
The tires sat near my inner fenders but still were not touching. I needed new rear tires so i decided to go with the stretched look. Mind you, every shop i talked to was against me running a stretched tire on my wheel, warning me that i would bend/break/crack/destroy my wheels AND that i was TOO LOW to run a stretched/aggressive set up.
I will proudly say...they are wrong.
I just added a 25mm spacer pushing my front to +0 and i still have clearance, and plenty of it. I am running a 15mm spacer in the rear which sits very close, but still clears.
What you see below is F: +0, R +15. And the car rides fine, no scrapes, no bumps, no bruises, and i can turn my wheels no problem.
*UPDATED - taken 5/23 attempting a rear offset of +5 by adding a 25mil spacer to the rear
*UPDATED PICS from INFEST II @ Glendale Nissan 4/15 F: +0 R: +15 w/ front Camber Arms added
*UPDATED PICS from 4/12* F: +5 R: +15
*Taken at the end of March around 3/23* F: +10 R: +30
PS - I DAILY THIS CAR. *shops were against selling me a setup like this, where im this low on stretched tires, because they said those who ran this kind of set up DID NOT daily their car or they had air suspension. Im not on air and i drive my G everywhere...im just careful, which is what everyone should be when a car has these kinds of mods.
Happy Friday!!

Thanks guys!! I really appreciate the compliments.
The main reason i put this thread together was because i wasnt really getting a whole lot of help from different shops in regards to what EXACTLY i needed to do to achieve a more aggressive stance, and i wanted to provide enough information to those interested, in the steps i took to get it to sit like this. Now dont get me wrong...im still not where i want it to be yet, as i think this is mildly aggressive, but its a start. Im learning that its a lot more than just buying rims/tires/spacers...theres cutting this and rolling that involved, etc.
So hopefully this will be a good thread for those who want to learn to build a daily driveable aggressive stance.
No rear camber kit. No front A arms. Just Coils/Spacers.
Once i get it sitting pretty ill definitely take more shots and better angles so you guys can see what it looks like with the different spacers on this ride height.

Spacers:
F: Ichiba 15mm
R: NONE YET (but picking up Ichiba 10mm later today)

As for big transitions on the frwy, if the car swayed alot it would only skim the plastic underneath but never hit very hard. If you look close to my front lip, youll notice it is completely undamaged even at this ride height.
I really on scraped now and then on speed bumps and steep inclined driveways.
Thanks Bill!! Rear spacers and front Aero kit is next
