Staggered wheels on G37x
I need some expert advise on wheels, please. Can I put staggered 18' wheels from G 37s on 2009 g37x without modifying anything?
Thanks!
Thanks!

No dont. you need all the same size. I have an 09x as well. I am going to buy wheels soon. I did a bit of research and they mess with the AWD system. you cant run staggered. get 4 fronts. it is hard to find them and might cost more, but thats all we can run with the x sadly.

Uhh im about to run... Stagger wheel set up.. Research is your friend... doing 20x9.0 and 20x10.5 .. with tires 245/35 and 285/30 ur rolling diameter is practically 0% and your running staggered... you just gotta play with the calculator and make sure rims fit the tires and the tires equal out.. Just go to this site and enter in your original and new tire sizes:
Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing
I believe the original tire sizes on the g37x are 225/50/18 all around. I have a g37x coupe as well and will be running staggered come this spring
. I'm planning on 245/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear.

It helped indeed. Thanks! I input 2009 G37x Sedan with 225/55/17 all around and compared them to 225/50/18 front & 245/45/18 rear. The results were diameter Difference 0.41% for the front and 0.23% for the rear. Am I good or should this set up be avoided?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Your tire rotation choices will be limited with staggered tires. If they are directional, they won't be rotated at all. Some you can rotated left/right. Square set up lets you rotate front/rear (and side to side if non directional). I have a staggered setup already. Next tire purchase will be square.

As you may remember, I have a G37x coupe and I was going to go square. However, I let the wheel salesman talk me into staggering. So, now I'm going with:
Stance SC-5's - Front: 19x8.5 +35, Rear: 19x9.5 +40
Hankook Ventus - Front: 225/45ZR -19, Rear 255/40ZR
According to the calculator, I've got a .67% diameter difference.
Unfortunately, I didn't even think about tire rotation. Oh well, they have already shipped.
