awesome... kwv3s is a good choice...
ur def not cheaping out on suspension parts here... think youll be happy with those...

hey, one thing with modding is that you can always change it up if you feel like something isnt meeting ur needs... maybe you wont have the need to even go w cusco, unless you jump on another great deal.... haha

True that, I almost did a trade with HKS coils though.

Wish I had the ability to change coils at the split of a whim like many of you. Especially if I fork $2K+ on a set-up. I spend that much $$ on any mod than you better believe those coils are staying on and that they were purchased after intense research.

Noir, you have KW V3's and you were considering trading them for HKS coils?? I get more confused as this thread continues. I heard miserable things on these coils on top of their expensive price tag.

On a side note: Where ever you guys are employed at I want to know if there is an opening...lol $2K for a coilover set-up and you guys change them up like girls change shoes. Hmmm... KW's on a car that will not see a track...still trying to sell myself on buyin the KW's not now but right now...

Gville, that's funny man. Just sit tight a little longer, $2k is a lot for me to shell out personally and if I do pull the trigger, I am buying the rear camber kits at the same time.

For me, it's down to Stance GR+ and KW V3. The difference is the price tag really. Stance go for about $1200 and KW's I believe $1830 shipped is the cheapest I found. I will be making a decision within the next couple of days.

Stance's are just very hard to find for sale. THmotorsports sold out and won't be getting any in until April. Soooo...KW's are actually looking like my only option at the moment.

Gville keep me posted on your decision. I am sure I'll make mine around the same time you do.

haha... you better believe that $2k+ coils will stay on for a while... just a matter of which coils to pull the trigger on... the coils on your list will be from top notch coils... so u wont be dissapointed regardless...

reality is this... if you get top notch coils... then you better use them the way they were design to be used...

example... between ssp and flex... if u put down that money on the flex, then ur purchasing them for what they deliver... the flex gives u the ability to corner balance (the way they were designed to be used)... thats why they come with that price tag... they were engineered to be used that way without the height affecting the way it should respond while in action... the fact that some are affected based on the height is lame, specially if they come with a certain price tag... night and day difference that the ssp doesnt offer... but if you dont use the coil to its ability, then might as well purchase the ssp, in this example...

Sorry that I make you confused OP but nothing wrong with my coils at all here are reasons why I thought about doing the swap
- JDM lol I know
- the guy offer straight trade no cash on top ( HKS coils cost more than KW )
- try something new , most people say HKS is too stiff for daily So I want to try it out by myself

I'm not that rich like you thought since parts on my car are used lol I got my coils for
1300 about 3000 miles on them.

Btw pm me your number so we can talk about meet, how about Sunday?

nope... dont track my car at all... just simply enjoy every moment when behind the wheel... piece of mind goes a long way when you know u have done it the right way...

one thing that ive learned throughout modding, is that the suspension is not one thing you want to cheap out on... ive learned the hard way... not because i was cheaping out, but simply because i was a nobieb once... suspension is a very vital component of the car and its what makes the driving experience pure fun... if youre not gonna go out all out with the suspension then dont bother... dont even bother modding anything else... the handling is an extremely important part of modding...

major difference between ssp and flex (flex not a track suspension, but an aggressive street one that will handle track duties if needed)... based on my research, i think the flex seperates itself from ssp and even kw3s because it offers certain things that those do not...

between ssp, kw3s, and flex...

1. ssp and flex come with the upper mount... kws do not and gotta use the oem ones w kws...
2. the lower you go, the suspension becomes softer... this will happen w ssp and kws... this may allow the suspension to bottom out in some cases... the flex however, has independent height and dampening adjustability... therefore, the dampening and compression of the shock will not suffer... the stiffness will remain the same at any height... major and one of the main reason why i went this route
3. whenever you lower a vehicle, the car no longer sits proper even if you lower it evenly on all four corners... hence the suspension suffers on turns, dips, uneven roads...etc... the flex allows for corner balancing... this option is major and a day and night option that many oversee... if only you can feel the way the car feels and handles once corner balanced... people think this is only done when tracking...WRONG!!! this is needed when lowering... do some research on corner balancing and see what reviews you read on this... trust me, you will wanna experience this when you read reviews... find reviews on corner balancing, please do!!! onces you try this you wont change to anything else that will not give u this option... one of the reasons why i went this route
4. edcf compatibility with tein
